I have a 93 250 turbo diesel, still driving it daily. Never let me down. Has an incredible +600.000 kms and sleeps outside in our not so good climate. That takes it´s toll, lots of rust at the bottom, my fault thought, I sprayed the underside with bottom coating over a decade ago without properly repairing rusty spots first. Been taken care of as we speak for my aim is one million kilometers :) This cars has really all I need, and it has some features even today´s cars don´t have sometimes, like not only heated screenwasher reservoir, but also electricaly heated spray nozzles, and that since it´s first production year 1986 ! Nuts.. Not to forget I overtake basically every car in turns, the thing is just glued to the ground and drifts on demand, no traction control spoils the fun here :)
Had the same car, same color same condition, got hit in the rear end by a Dodge ram on the interstate in Georgia, totalled. Nice car, good pull, the ride at hwy cruising speed is solid, but needs more oomph compared to the V8 e420. Solid build, expensive to fix,I had no major work done besides all shocks, coils, radiator and hoses, water pump. Harness was good. These cars regularly run hot though so beware. I had a 2001 E320 and had to have the wiring harness replaced 3 times under warranty, plus the dashboard instrument gauges. Never had any engine problems, but the electronics were the worst on any car I've ever owned.
They really nailed it with the W124! We used to own a E200 back in 90-92. man that was a sweet ride despite its under powered engine, I believe it had 90-95 hp, but still, it was a cruiser. I have a w124 E280 93` as a daily driver, best cars ever!
Im in love with this model w124
I have 93 E200
@Judeh Shakur . +1 .. An uncle's hand-me-down '94 E320 Coupe is our daily driver car. . It's like new, varooom.
This W124 E320 is beautiful. I have the same one in Taiwan, too. If I were in the US, I will buy it.
Is it really realible and not many issues?
@@hotmautama1268 yes! Its reliability is high. Especially there are not too many electronic parts in it, which means that you won't spend too much money in electronic parts in the future.
Such a relief, Richard is not crying! Great car
I picked up a 1988 300e a few months ago with 80,000 kms on it!
I love my w201 2.3 16v. Something about the build quality on this generation of mercs. A c124 or a w124 is next on the want to own list. Had a 300D once, but it was worn with 450000 miles on it. Id like a low milage diesel one day. Great video.
Wow! A dream! A jewel! If I lived there in U.S...
I have a 1993 400E ( V8), and I also live in FL... :) ;)
Been taken care of as we speak for my aim is one million kilometers :)
This cars has really all I need, and it has some features even today´s cars don´t have sometimes, like not only heated screenwasher reservoir, but also electricaly heated spray nozzles, and that since it´s first production year 1986 ! Nuts.. Not to forget I overtake basically every car in turns, the thing is just glued to the ground and drifts on demand, no traction control spoils the fun here :)
2019 and i am still in searching for this car to buy!!!!!
i have one of these . same color 1994..........loaded.......65k miles on it. garaged
i have one i will sell you same color 1994. 65k miles . loaded
@@yogavnture1 sir one the best car Mercedes ever built bro love from pakistan plz share pics of ur car
Me too
Watch out for rust at the bottom, especially rear suspension cradle !!!
The BEST or nothing ! cant be said different
Had for 8years,good times.
I still have one in Black really great car. I drive mainly here in summer in the Northwest. I do the oil change myself. Did not have any problem at all. Love this car.
Love this video. I owned an identical E320 in Dubai and enjoyed every bit of it. A Saudi man bought it from me with some extra cash. He needed it so badly and drove it all the way to Saudi from Dubai
Wonderful review! I own a 1995 E320 Sedan and has 150,000 miles. It runs like new, the ride is great. Its a classic MB. I love my car and plan on keeping it till I die. I much prefer it to the new Mercedes. You don't see these cars on the roads nowadays.
WOW 🤩 and 43,000 miles 😳
I enjoyed this video. It was very informative on this MB.
Amazing car + excellent sales manager... These not a just car, these a dream, lucky guy, who will bye these car!
You found a treasure. Mine is 92 with 165K miles. M103 Engine. Very good preserved but not as pristine as yours!
I was sold mine last month..actually i still want to kept that car. 300E 1987 Manual, Raughsilber on Black..someday i will buy again...over engineered and timeless model. Oh man...that car so awesome !
The new Mercs are full of electronic gizmos and all sorts of bunk. None of them feel near as good as the old 1990’s ones. That was a time when Merc really did live up to its reputation of being the “Most Well Engineered Car” in the World....
Wow I love it, this was my very first car, needless to say mine was not in so good condition. But the engine was amazing I wish I can find another one that's this mint condition
I own a 1999 E320 4matic. Best car I ever had!!
1989 300e... the best car I ever owned... simplicity at its best
Love these videos
Beautiful car and great video!
That’s the one dude! Best ever!
+1. .. Fond memories the W124 series. .. I too came across a 1-owner MY94 E 320 Coupe variant a few years ago. .. The "as-new" coupe now serves as the daily driver. .. Like Bill's modest mileage - 2-owner MY95 E 320 sedan, our coupe is also finished in 702 Smoke Silver metallic with 265 Creme Beige Leather. .. Hey Bill, have a look at the 3.2l engines external serpentine belt - think of an extra-long, extra-wide fan belt... This OE belt requires a change every 30k miles or 4 years. ..Age kills this belt. .. About $60.00/belt and 1hr install. .. All the best, good luck M/S
Where do you get all these MB's?
Also recirculating ball is mainly good for taking away the road feel to make the driver feel at ease, and of course that substantial vault feeling.
That is a cool H1 Hummer in a background
I had a 2001 E320 and had to have the wiring harness replaced 3 times under warranty, plus the dashboard instrument gauges. Never had any engine problems, but the electronics were the worst on any car I've ever owned.
Great car , one of the best ever .Great video buddy.
They really nailed it with the W124! We used to own a E200 back in 90-92. man that was a sweet ride despite its under powered engine, I believe it had 90-95 hp, but still, it was a cruiser.
I'm actually looking at a E420 at the moment with 74000 miles on it, hope to make a deal asap before it gets sold!
those 124's now have started to go up in price, the ones that are still in good condition.
@@Rimrock300 you're right, they should go up in price, such nice cars!
İ own a W124 E200. Amazing car even with 2.0liter gasoline engine. Keep it at good condition.
I just bought a 92 300e 4matic, and it's amazing. Will own a Mercedes for the rest of my life.
I'm also a mechanic so I can afford to haha
21:10 „what’s still made in Germany nowadays, except some weird p****”. Because you nailed it so well, I as a Germany laughed and a moment later almost cried, thinking about what policy makers and EU bureaucrats are doing to our once so great automotive industry nowadays.
Great car, Own a 05 E500. German Hot Rods.
my w124 E200d wagon/estate/tourig however u want got over 600k km on the clock and still runs like a dream
I'm dying for one of those 💕
I have a coupe, absolutely love it, will get a sedan because of the growing family...very stiff chasis even the coupe without a b pillar doesn't flex!!
I have the Coupe and the Breitling Headwind as well.
i have one of these cars in my storage unit it has 75 k miles on it. should i restore iit
aren’t the wiring harnesses bad? i read somewhere that they degraded very quickly
I’ve drove a 94 e320 wagon for 5 years.still didn’t know what some of those dash switches were until viewing this video. Check out the “can you kill an old Merc?” Episode of the English produced car show. Can’t recall it’s name.
It's probably on of Mercedes most popular sedan besides the s class and even then s class fans get divided on which generation is best. However most people you ask will agree, this is one of if not the best Mercedes Benz sedans ever.
Some say the operation room of a surgeon is more filty than the engine bay of this car.... this machine will survive everything!
bulletproof made to last
Wow great condition
I have recently bought a 1993 e220 in a very good condition with all original paint here in new delhi for $950...bought it for its engineering n my childhood memories when only few can afford it
I watch this 124 video daily if it was in my country i would have bought it
18:30-18:50 nicely said... sweet blades...
thats one good sales man !!!
Interesting bit of info about the "mouldy stuff in the plastics in the gauges" Bill - it's actually metal corrosion. They are metal gauges, if they are the same as what's in the w126.
very good condition! there are some fans and dealers they bring cars like this here to europe !! there are a lot of mercedes BMW Audi etc what comes back imported to germany from japan!! specialy the E 500 ( E 500 ) is great! E 320 like this coasts in Europe with around 60000 KM from 15000 € to open end. the buzzer the doorlook pins are only by the US-market Models
What a beauty
Beautiful car,I love😍😍😍
also if you're sure you're not hiding anything in the rear seats, remove them, you'll find a middle seatbelt
And maybe a few Skittles
Got one 95 E320 Mercedes for 4 years now always. Been good car never any problem
I love w124
Me too, I used to have one along with a 325i/733i, Toyota p/u and two Porsches.
The passenger side mirror is smaller because of, when driving the car to/from garage is made easier (not to hit so easily on the door rims).
It was also smaller for aerodynamic reasons and narrow European streets. This car had the lowest coefficient drag of any car when it first came out. The rear multi-link suspension was also a first of its kind. It also had the stiffest chassis of any production car at the time at 66MHz. This car had a lot of firsts.
Yes, I have a -95 E320Te and a -88 230 sedan. Like them both.
I have a 320 just like this. Excellent cars!
Im thinking on one same color 130,000 miles whats your take
is this still available ?
Great friend Olaf Car in NORWAY, reliable
Hello! How much would this car cost me if they send me to Paraguay?
Wish my 300D was in that condition :o
I am shaking! These cars are masterpieces. I have concluded that I will never ever get over it. The W124 is the greatest series Mercedes ever made. Sacco Bruno is a genius!
