I like wretched but i also like senchal defender as a sustain set too. No recovery, but at 10 stacks your heavy attack restores an additional 7.6k stamina and magicka. I use it on hybrid WW sorc

Stuhn is great when your enemy is off-balance. But it's useless when they aren't, whereas Oakfather is always useful. Not only does it give you penetration, but it gives you W/S damage, and your enemy is guaranteed to have at least 4-5 major buffs active at almost all times.

If they hit a tripot, that's an extra 3x Recovery Buffs. Which is 3.6k pen. Now for minor Buffs, every class has at least 1x Minor Buff that they active when using class skills. Everyone runs vigor (1x), some run Race Against Time (1x). I'll toss just another 1x for balancing. So it is, optimally, a 3.6k pen + 80 Wp/spell dmg for the 5-piece against these conditions. Let's not forget that Stuhn is a trigger, you just need to damage someone who's off-balance, you don't need to be the one applying it. If you are solo you can use Toppling Javelin (Templar), Cliff-Racer (Warden), Fossilize (DK). There's also Dizzy Swing, attack from Stealth (NB), enchantment proc. It's a free 5k pen against everyone for 10s. So in total, It's 6.8k Pen + 260 Wp/spell dmg vs. 3.6k Pen + 467 Wp/spell dmg. That's why I think, pen-wise, Stuhn is better, specially if you are in group play. Keep in mind that, Spriggan and Spinner do similar, they offer 3.3k pen and 330 Wp/spell dmg (scaled off each resource). So you also have that. Now, however, let's say you enter GvG. Everyone will prob have: Major Berserk, Major Courage, Major Vitality, Minor Vitality, Minor Mending, Major Mending + 3x buffs from classes. It'll grant you 5.8 pen and around 520 Wp/spell dmg at least. Yeah I can see this being good there. However, I myself prefer simpler triggers, if the enemy forgets a buff, didn't drop pot in time, it's a minus an offensive stat for me, see where I'm going? But off course, the king of pen is shattered fate. 8k pen at all times, no other bonuses, which ain't that bad if you just frontbar it. Add a 2H sharp maul for extra 6k and it's an easy 14k pen on the frontbar.
Mehhhh I gotta disagree. Rallying cry is MID. 300 dmg? wack. the crit resistance is nice but noooo replacement for protections. maybe as a backbar just to overbuild for damage.

Aetheric lancer they don't have to be in the aoe you do I've used it and u can throw the javelin and it hits and procs the lancer seen it hit for 12k+
