Great comparison review especially of the birdcage room. We have done regular sea terrace and XL sea terrace. Love the bathroom if the XL, but living room not much different. We have been spoilt when we did Rockstar though! We have booked the group cruise with you and can't wait!!❤
That's the problem with going Rockstar or Mega Rockstar, going the other way is less fun Our first few cruises with Virgin were Rockstar, and we'd love to get back to that side, or try Mega at some point. Can't wait to see you on the group cruise Lisa :)
Hi, have recently booked our second cruise for next year. I was able to select our cabin by calling and booking over the phone. I had tried online but it repeatedly auto selected cabins deck 14 without option to select. We had read the feedback about noise from the pool area and gym so elected not to take the chance and not being able to change once booked. Plus Deck 9 is not too far from the Dock.
We absolutely didn't like the locations of the ones right at the front with the birdcage and solid front balconies, but we've not had a good look at the other locations.
Hi KT, we have one more Virgin video coming up next week, which is the full cruise review, and our final in the series. We started putting our Virgin ones up at the beginning of Sept. If you look back at our channel since we started (and you might be fairly new to us), we generally create between 10 & 12 videos from each cruise (so around three months coverage). These usually cover things such as room tours, speciality dining, inclusive dining, drinks packages, ship tours, cruise reviews and such. This one was a little different as we had covered a lot of those things on Resilient Lady before, and so we did four day vlogs (not our usual thing), along with two cabin types we hadn't covered before (Sea Terrace & Insider), and our full cruise review. So much less coverage than we do on a normal cruise (8 weeks worth by the end). We'd love to have enough annual leave and money to go on a cruise every month, but we don't, and the format we put our reviews out seems to work for most people, and we'd struggle to get all the videos out if we were on cruises more than every two months at the most. Hope this helps you understand. Linzi & Mark
Those rooms are so small and sparse feeling to me. So Utilitarian, in no way shape or form is it luxury. I've had college dorm rooms that felt more posh.
I’m always astounded by how highly functional you guys are after the amount of cocktails you consume on these cruises. Thanks for another great video!
We are often astounded too 😂

Loved our August Bank Holiday cruise on Resilient Lady. Booked another VV for August 2025 🥂🛳
Fantastic Steven, where are you heading in August 2025?
I am not a fan of the location of the XL sea terraces which puts me off bidding for an upgrade.

OMG, you guys been off the Virgin cruise for quite a long time and still cranking out videos for the same cruise. Take another cruise!

I'd watch Linzi read the phone book so who cares...?
That'll be a week on Sunday then 😂
