Just installed my DD Pro, upgrade from G29. Still have to look up how to set the wheel. Basic setup already gave me a good boost, only had time for 4 laps.

Nice, my GT DD wheel is set to arrive in march, and its my first Fanatec wheel so will try these settings out to see if it works for me
Nice! Mine was set for March 14th. It turned up a week and a half ago. You may get it in time for gt7.

I don’t have a shock ffb setting on my dd pro and I’ve done the latest firmware update to. Do you know why that is??

Digit, I think I will at least start with your recommendations.
I noticed that you adjusted strength and sensitivity in-game (GT Sport), as well as the Fanatec controls. Are the Fanatec ones accessed through the steering wheel (I have yet to set mine up), or are what I've seen you do via the PC (you can access a LOT of variability via the PC-only menu, but unfortunately I only have a console.
Like I said, I still have to set the pedals up. I have the loadcell, so I have to switch things around there. And, I have the boost kit, but I noticed you turned down the strength of FFB even though you have the 5nm model. The 8nm is overkill, you think?
You can adjust it on PC or on the actual wheel. Don't make any difference the way you do it. Only if you want to make some deadzones on the pedals you have to plug it into the PC
About the boost kit, don't know really. I didn't need the full power on CSL Elite so I didn't get it in the end
Can you complete a drift challenge either with your settings or fanatecs.. I find it impossible to even start a drift using this wheel. car just spins out instantly. I have to switch to controller for drifting.

I found out today that I lost a lot of Lap Time because I had the brake force on 80%, this did cause often much understeering because I did not reach 100% brake force with the very first touch of the brake pedal while braking strong. I will go for Quali laps tomorrow but the car already feels a lot more sticky while turning in. It's like you did say, everyone need to find his own setting, but your video did help me finding my setting, so thanks 🏁🌍💪😎👍 Now I know why you are able to brake so late 😉😂✌️
How do you change the brake force settings on the PS5? I can't find the menu.
@@Tugennov No, the one direct on your Fanatec wheel Menu. There is a little black button near the display, push it and you will be able to fine tune about 5 settings 🎮🏁😎✌️
Do you know why I can't see the pedals setting in the Tuning menu? it detects them fine as connected to the base, but not in the Tuning menu to change the Brake Force
Yes I have same issue
Go in menu and push the settings menu for 4 more seconds. It will unlock all settings for you.
Kod mene je još uvijek sve po preporučenim postavkama od Fanateca i jako mi dobro leže. U odnosu na G29 koji sam prije imao, sad dobivam mnogo vise povratnih informacija na volanu. Dok ne skužim sve te informacije šta znače držat ću se ovoga ali isto tako vjerujem da malim promjenama u postavkama možemo dobiti vise. Ali prvo treba sve ovo skužiti. Moj je primjer da sam brzi u prosjeku 0.3sec po krugu ali konzistentnost je nesusporediva. Sad uživam u C daily a krugovi su mi u okviru pola sekunde razlike. Jedino sto sam primijetio na čemu trebam raditi je na bliskoj vožnji iza auta ispred
Prelazak sa G29 je to šta kažeš, neusporediv. Konstanta dođe sa vremenom :)
Since the new Grand Turismo 7 update just a few days ago Force Feedback has become weaker on the Fanatec GT DD Pro with the 8nm 180 boots kit. Why? I paid extra to make the game feel more realistic. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

These settings work the best if you have the 8nm boost kit 5nm you'll need to increase to 8 or 9 ffb

@@DigitRacingDG same here just tried on 5nm can confirm it needs 8 or 9 ftb. With the 8nm your settings are fine tho

Mine arrived today? 4 week's ahead of schedule. I've no playstation yet or the wheel stand or the TV 🤣 hopefully it'll have it all in place for gt7. First console in the house for ten years!! I'm so hyped
@@DigitRacingDG I am guessing I can connect my DD Pro to my laptop to access these settings, but if I play the game on console they don't apply, or are they saved?
@steve clements they can be adjusted on the wheel itself, there's a small tiny settings button beside the LED screen or on laptop too.
I use standard settings and it feels good. But when there is tires consumation, I feel that I lack some feeling. I use csl dd obviously
Same for me. No feeling when tires losing grip. Need to find better settings

@@MrChocobit instead of using 5 5 in ffb setting on the game. I’m using 6 6. That’s a stupid change but that helped me
ciao ! setting is for 5nm or for 8nm
This one is for 5nm, but it shouldn't make that much different, just add more FFB in game or reduce it
@@DigitRacingDG i just gave a try on yours and on my reference lap with amg gt3 an Gp nurb went immediately down after 2 laps by 4 tenths and repeated continuosly.. with 4 and 10 in Gt sport ... wonderful

Not sure what you mean by "peak". I haven't even turned mine on yet - took me ages to connect it to my rig, mucking about with positioning of t-nuts and fitting of base to my rig. Gawd ...
