Thank you for posting a video of '15 sonata. As an owner of '11 sonata, I'm very impressed with the new ergonomics and engine components of this vehicle. My mileage is around 87k km (in Canada) and there wasn't one single major issue other than maintaining basic services. I strongly recommend sonata for those who are considering to drive one because they are highly reliable and fuel efficient. Again, this is the vehicle that you can get the best value from every aspect.

My grandpa owned this vehicle. After his passing, I now proudly own it. It was always his wish that it gets passed down to me in the future.
Just bought a 2017 Eco (last on the lot). Love love love this car, did a lot of research on the 3 engines available, MPG and accessories and this one came out on top everytime.
40mpg cruising at 80. 35mpg plus around town.
It has Bluetooth, Android auto and a back up camera. None of the excessive lane departure and other fancy warnings.
It runs on taller 16" tires which are better for New England roads.
I have noticed the so called jerkiness in traffic , but put it on an open road in sport and this thing is a hoot.
I smile when. I see people in the 2.0T in my rear view mirror at the lights.

Just had this as a rental car in Florida. Got the base model SE, with Sirius XM Satellite Radio, which was great. My friend is 6' 3" and had plenty of head room and TONNES of rear leg room. Definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a Sonata.

Im not a hyundai person, far from, but even i have to admit they have severely upped thier game over the past years when it comes to quality and available options. Keep up the awesome vids kyle! Big fan!
I felt that way about Hyundai 5 yrs ago. I'm now on my third Hyundai. The first was a '13 Elantra GT
Next was a '16 Elantra SE.
Two weeks ago I bought a Sonata SE.
I never took any of my Hyundais in for anything but oil changes and tire rotations.
I've heard others complain of sloppy handling. All 3 of mine drive fine and track straight on a smooth level highways. I have the alignment checked at 40k miles and they were within mfg specs each time. I've never had a car hold alignment like these Hyundais.
I drive 30k miles and more every year. I'm sold on Hyundai. Kia is probably just as good.

I really like the Sonata Eco. It meets all my criteria for a fuel efficient, peppy, yet roomy car in my car shopping saga. In sport mode this car has some nuts to it. More over the Mazda 6.

bought a 2014 sonata gls silver with popular tech package. man I love this car. it's not fast but it's not slow either, it's got good enough power for a daily driver with pleasant mid range torque. it's also decent on fuel. my first tank I got 29.8 mpg which isn't bad conciering it was mostly 50-70 km/h zones and only one short 15 trip on the 100 highway! people say it hasn't aged well with the time... well that's personal taste personally I think it looks better then the newer models and I get complements all the time on it's looks. it's an amazing car, the engine issue was a concern but with the warrenty and recall work done i feel confident.

I had one as a rental in San Diego and I have to say the quality took me by surprise. Plus i managed to get some wheel spin from flooring it at stoplights which is pretty impressive for something in its class. I would still buy the Nissan Altima for the same price but it isn't a bad car at all.

Very nice.
I suggest a wired mic/lav so we can hear you better when away from the camera. The wired lapel mic is better because you don't have to sync the sound when editing. Trust me, it works.
I can already tell that Hyundai is starting to drift more into making luxury cars than economy cars. They have an abundance of luxury cars that are cheaper than competitors and offer as much features. One may go as far as to say that Hyundai cars are loose leads.

Impressive powertrain! An Elantra sized coupe with this powertrain would be a very cool daily driver...
Just bought a used 2010 Sonata, it's amazing how different that model, and this model looks. One looks like a used 2010 Sonata, the other looks like an affordable BMW.

Hyundais never impress with exhaust sound. But they excel in nearly every other category in their price range.

I'm very impressed with the new Sonata. I had a 2015 Sport 2.4 as a service loaner a couple weeks ago, and it was great. I like that I can change the steering mode and drive mode. Our '13 GLS doesn't have anything other than an Eco Mode. And believe it or not, you can definitely feel the 5 less horsepower. The engine definitely sounds better than the previous model, though. My only complaint about this car is the horsepower drop in the 2.0 and 2.4. Quite disappointing.
I like the Eco Sonata. In some tests I've seen, it's even been faster than the 2.0 turbo Sonata by a full second 0-60 while still getting superior fuel economy. My only complaint is that the Eco doesn't offer a sunroof or fog lights. But Hyundai and Kia really powered down that 2.0 turbo for their newer models (from 270+ hp to 240-something hp). I feel like they're gonna regret that in the end, because it makes the 2.0 Sport models somewhat of a bad value comparing them to say this 1.6 turbo that's faster AND more efficient in many instances.
Also, Kyle: I love seeing your reviews! Been watching for years now, and will be for years to come. Could you please review a Saturn Aura at somepoint? Either the 3.5 or 3.6 V6 model. I have a 2008 Aura 3.5 V6 right now, and its been a nice car these past 4 years. It'll be nice to see someone give it some love and review it! I feel like its very underappreciated since it wasn't produced for long before Saturn was canned, and because the 2008 Malibu was essentially the same car and upstaged it. But people forget it won 2007 car of the year!
Hey how would you compare this to the DSG TDI Golf? I'm asking because they're both supposed to be quiet, refined, efficient DCT cars that aren't super boring to drive.

2015 is a beautiful model. can't wait to get one. not a fan of the 2016's standard LCD display. i like buttons a lot better. makes for less distracting driving when using the radio, etc.

Wow, Hyundai has come a long way since the early 2000's.. I always thought Hyundai, and Kia alike were lower end car companies but recently that's been changing drastically

curious, since three out of four sonata's sold in the states are SE models, why online is it the opposite so to speak. three out of four vids are for the higher trims (sport, limited) most people don't own. so few lower trim models not just the sonata but most vehicles? again just curious why the disconnect?

jackmatese11 It does matter! Thanks so much! I would prefer the Sport 2.0LT myself as I like the sportier highlights, but the DCT is such a cool feature. I would recommend it as you get an economy minded car with a sporty soul underneath, very unique.

+Brent Audi I believe only Toyota companies have it, but of course, if you're good at negotiating for lower prices and freebies then it shouldn't be a problem. I knew a friend whom have a life time oil change on his Hyundai Elantra from negotiating as part of the offer.
