Something tells me dad in story 1 starting to do what his MIL wanted him to do. The fact that the only 2 who showed any signs of being against OP at all were dad and step mom's mom leads me to believe that daddy was always planning on moving his MIL into the house at her request and now it'll be OP and Step Mom vs Dad and MIL in the near future.
I think that dad told lies to MIL about OP being dangerous as an explanation why she was moved out. The fact that MIL was hovering when OP was with the baby, and didn't want the younger sibling to go for a sleepover is a wild detail that OP just glossed over.
NGL story 3 "invite the exes" sounds like a perfect FU to the brother. 😂 If dude keeps being persistent about Amanda, in OP's shoes, I'd say fine, and then whip out the invites for all the exes.
