- Riding MTB in an abandoned water park in California with Brad Simms! I ride my Canyon enduro MTB with BMX legend down stairs, over jumps, wallrides and explore this crazy abandoned location on the Cllctv team trip! Would you ride here?
I meet up with Brad Simms a professional BMX rider who now shred MTB thanks to Canyon. We decided to meet up in this abandoned water park to see what we could get up to and see which features we could find. I start off with a little line through the empty buildings straight into a big wallride before meeting Brad and getting him to ride down some huge stairs. After shredding the stairs we find a HUGE gap across a dried up lazy river. Unfortunately this spot was to windy to hit the big drop (which is why we wanted to come) so we made the best of the situation and had as much fun as possible! Would you ride here?

I love the expression "wasteland of fun." One of the few positive aspects of an all-out nuclear war would be Sam posting his video the next day doing massive cutties in the fall-out and having the best apocalypse EVER!
OMG HOLLYWOOD ARE YOU LISTENING?! This would actually make the best action movie of all time. We don't need no more superhero movies, just Sam riding the apocalypse.
What I love about Sam's videos is that it's like watching a really excited puppy that's just discovered it's tail. Great stuff

Ha, epic indeed! Years ago it was also epic when Brad would have gone to the sky but luckily there was a roof to stop him in the bmx/skate hall here in Finland. Casually riding rails, bouncing some massive bunnyhops!

I used to go to this water park in the 80s, as a kid. It was awesome (sketchy). Look up lake Dolores. The stand up slide was sick.

There’s a lot of good riding spots a couple hours south from where this is at; a couple downhill bike parks, pump tracks (one even has a skate park next to it), and a whole lot of trails too

That's the old "Lake Delores" location outside of Barstow Californina. Even when it was full of water are "running" it was a death trap. So many lawsuits and so many injuries from that place.
