Hello ted. Quick question. I have the engine on the boat and need to advance the engine so I can see if everything is moving correctly. How can I do that? The motor mount is right in front of engine.
@@tedsmarinerepair8956 thanks for your help. your help let me decide between two boats. one had bad compression the other is all good. all in the 130s. nextvis to figure out why at wot after its all warmed up running awhile it bogs at wot. but not less tho. Carb mayby?

can i do this test when the motor is in the boat using the key?
Yes but unplug the ignition coil wires (purple and gray)
