      @@FullThrottleFreedomChannel I went with Fenrir , off of AlliExpress , they were only about $70 Canadian , if u look up guffe moto on TH-cam u will see his video on them , even though they look smaller I can see better than the stock ones , as the stocks were blocked by my shoulders , cheers

    Here are the mods on my icon blue '23 model: 1)Puig dark smoke sport and touring screen,i mostly use the sport 2)Evotech crash bobbins,spindle bobbins (both front and rear) and radiator screen 3)Pyramid fender and hugger extension (glued them with epoxy) and shock shield. 4)swing arm spools to help with maintenance and cleaning. I plan for a custom work on the seat as i find the stock a bit hard.

    Looking great fella 😎
    Red guard and spools next for me.
    I like those silver case guards you have but being skint means that will be a Wish purchase 👀 wish me luck 😆

      Thanks man!! Yeah, they’re a little pricey, but they look SO GOOD on the bike 👌🏻 Happy modding, haha!

    How is the bike with an second person behind ?
    Is it comfy long / short ride ?
    Or better after market seat

    • @FullThrottleFreedomChannel
      @FullThrottleFreedomChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      For me it’s more about the positioning/ergonomics. The ergos work well with a passenger on this bike, and are comfy for long rides 👍🏻
      The seat is a little firm but it doesn’t bother me. If your butt gets sore easily, then I’d get an aftermarket seat.

    Spray the back of the windscreen up to the level of the speedo.

    Did you order all your puig stuff online? Or did you find a shop locally?

    • @FullThrottleFreedomChannel
      @FullThrottleFreedomChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I ordered from a local shop. You can use Blackfoot Motosports, Jack Carter North or South or any other motorcycle dealer / parts shop.

    FTF, are you still active on TH-cam.? I see you are in Calgary, like I am. 😜

    Been using spools and swingarm stands for 30 years, never had one break or even begin to look like it’s going to break.

    • @FullThrottleFreedomChannel
      @FullThrottleFreedomChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely! I’ve never had any problems with spools either. Just to clarify though, I wasn’t talking about regular use of the swingarm spools. You’re not going to have issues with using spools for what they’re designed for.
      What I was talking about are swingarm spools with sliders on the end. Those anchor points were designed to be strong in one direction (to lift the bike), not to take the force of a crash, or the weight of the bike on its side. That’s when you’ll see them break.
      My point in the video was that instead of being “cheap” and “efficient” by buying spools with sliders on the end, I bought two different parts for two different purposes. Swingarm spools for lifting the bike, and axle sliders for crash protection. Better to spend the extra $30 now than break your swingarm anchor points in a crash

    Swing arm spools are for lifting the bike..

    • @FullThrottleFreedomChannel
      @FullThrottleFreedomChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, I agree… What made you think differently? My point in the video was that they make sliders that also double as a swingarm spool, but that the anchor point isn’t very strong. Better to have swingarm spools and axle sliders separately

    I found the MT09 Yamaha screen is poor wind deflection and vibrates in the wind. The MRA racing Screen is at least equal deflection, looks better and has zero vibration. Axle and Engine Frame sliders are unlikely slide contact points, fender sliders are worthwhile. Radiator guards is=are worthwhile.

      Hidden Dragon. I've always loved the look of the MRA as well. Do they make one for the new 2022 already? Thank you.

      @hiddendragon415 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ar2043 Yes they do. Be aware they are not cheap but l recommend them. You will still get wind from chest up but none on your lower body.

      @ar2043 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good to know. And yes, I've noticed that they are pricey but they definitely seem like a quality product. I think if you bolt an MRA on there, nobody's going to mistake it for an Amazon special. Thank you.

    Done all that but not binned those mirrors? First thing that went on mine. The standard ones look crap and give you a great view of your elbows! Bar end ones open up a whole new world.

    • @FullThrottleFreedomChannel
      @FullThrottleFreedomChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair enough! I personally don’t mind the look of the stock ones, that’s why they’re not gone yet 🤷🏻‍♂️ If anything, they’re a pain in the butt to clean, but other than that they don’t bother me. I totally get the appeal for bar ends though!

    You need to fit a full Yoshimura system (and you don't have to re-map).
