Thanks for the video!!! Are your spindles rusting yet? I purchased them but might paint them before installing.

any concerns with potholes or real bumpy roads?

My project is on pause for a while, so I can't speak to it personally (yet) - but I'll report back after driving with it this Fall. I know you can adjust the suspension for a softer ride - which may help on bad roads.

How has this system been working for you? Any pictures of how the cars sits? Any bump steer issues? I have just purchased this kit for my 1968 Firebird. I was a bit alarmed by the design where the weight of the car loads to the shock tower (and not the pocket/perch) where the factory spring and many other coil overs support the car. Did you reinforce any of the welds here as called out in the ridetech instructions? Thanks

their system is about a 2" drop, so the car sits pretty damn low, but that's what it's designed to do. I'll see if I can get a picture on here. The project is on pause for the winter. Can't really since the car has not been driven - sits fine - instructions say to make sure the factory welds are good - not all were and yes I did that. If there were issues with the design it would be on the net in the forums.. In my opinion.

I can't figure out how to insert a photo into the reply. email me at theproficientpilot@gmail.com and I'll send you a pic of how the car sits now.

@@TheProficientPilot Thanks for the reply. My install is complete. Overall, very pleased. The car's cornering and performance has greatly improved. It's just a street car but the screeching and understeer on old setup is gone. A lot of the performance is probably due to the bigger and better tires. Prior were 205/60/15. Now 235/45/17 nitto NT 555G2. I may go with a stiffer spring. Here is video of speed bump travel on 700lb spring.

@@TheProficientPilot Looking forward to seeing the project resumed. Car looks great. Your insight and pain and suffering on the 4 link has been weighing on my mind. I am going to try this in the spring and let's hope my car is jig tolerant. I called ridetech for dimensions on the cradle, etc but they could not provide. Will try again.
