I love how you spoke about growing up poor and how later in life it makes you hoard items. I've been going through my items lately and so many it's like "Why have I kept this?" But your explanation is spot on. Thanks for being you! Requested your Facebook group ❤

It's been a while~ I'm happy that you've come to this realization Dulce~ Honestly I haven't watched your videos for maybe 1-2 years now because I felt overwhelmed~ Yes I loved your hauls and I watched lots of youtubers do it but when I went to school, had no income for 2 years and went through a shopping withdrawal, only then I realized how much I have at home and I started to appreciate things that I have~ I found a lot of things that I bought years ago that I still haven't worn and a lot of old things that couldn't be worn anymore but I can't let go~ I'm very happy now, I've gotten rid of a lot of things and I'm now shopping my own closet~ I still buy things like basics and staple items that I don't have (e.g. underthings, white sneakers...) but I'm way better now with controlling the impulse to buy~ :) Good luck with this new phase in your life~! Once you start you can never go back for as long as you feel the benefit of the change~

I am so happy for you! I have been a professional organizer for several years - and have been very organized since I was a child. BUT, I have to admit that Tyding Up inspired me too! My eyes were very opened to the fact that I had lots of clothes and things in my home that did not make me happy. I walk around my home now and am completely surrounded with items that spark joy.

Wow I am so amazed and impressed that you are doing this!! To be honest, I had to move away from your videos because your hauls always made me want to buy items that I did not know I wanted until seeing you post about them. This is such an amazing change for you to be promoting! Lots of love.

I am going to pour my heart out to you Dulce. YOU were the first youtuber that I started watching .
I loved loved your videos. Love that I could relate to you. I loved that you bought affordable stuff whatever you showed in beauty products I wanted to go to the store a.s.a.p and buy those products . . MIND YOU THIS WAS AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR CAREER. With time obviously you got more and more popular and your essence change . I was sad I could no longer afford the high end products you will buy. When you will show your hauls and I will try to add all the stuff you got and I was shocked. I FELT EXACTLY HOW YOU FELT WHEN YOU WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL .WHILE I WAS WATCHING YOUR HAULS.
Then you went through your dark ages.
But now sweetie you have brought back the Dulce candy I could related to. I absolutely love your videos and I am beyond happy for your success .
Low key I became a shopholic due to you tube . Watching this video and other videos such as a minimalist has really reshaped my way of thinking .
Te quiero mucho Dulce Candy !!!!! De vedad eres una inspiración tan grande ! Eres hermosa por afuera y por dentro.

Dulce I want to tell you that what you’re doing and the messages you are putting out in the world using your platform are incredible! We have so many social problems currently that are disguised in our culture as normal and unproblematic but reality is opposite one of those issues are our consumer habits and how we are controlled and brainwashed to constantly consume and place happiness on material things while trying to keep up with the affluent and assimilate their lifestyles at the same time when social mobility is low, income inequality is high, cost of living living is high while wages remain low. Things we all need to become conscious of.

I’m so happy that you came to this realization. I had to stop watching you long ago because of the hauls, I realized how much it influenced me to shop. By the way I had a shopping addiction, so it wasn’t just you. But I kept seeing influencers marriages fall apart and I couldn’t help but think that it was partly to do with the shopping addiction and hoarding. I’m so happy that you recognized the issue and are actively taking the steps to fill your life with more important things. ❤️

This was so fun to watch! I can relate to everything you said at the beginning, growing up without a lot of money it's easy to go overboard when you start making it. I am still learning to remove "feelings" from material "objects". It's definitely a process, and your video motivated me to continue. Good job Dulce!

The beginning of this I related to SO MUCH!!! I didnt recognize why I had a shopping problem until I went to therapy. I grew up extremely poor, homeless when I was 11, and I NEVER was able to have the cute clothes or really anything I wanted. I realized I was attaching my self worth to material items. Love you Dulce!

What you said in the beginning is so relatable. When you grow up not having much, and you see other classmates have everything, you want that too. Not going to lie, when I first started watching you in your parents home in that room closet, I wanted that too. And so I started to buy all this stuff. Now, years later, I have to constantly throw stuff out too. I’m happy to not be attached to my things like how I used to be. Anyways, it’s nice to evolve with you.

Yes! 🙌 if there was anyone I want to see this from it would be Dulce! Your huge closet with racks and racks of clothes was so overwhelming! And your beauty room was insane!!!! 😱 but it makes sense now that you put it in perspective. Growing up with no money would def create a hoarders mentality. I didn't grow up poor but I have a lot of siblings so my mom was always on a budget. When I got my first job I bought expensive makeup I didn't even know how to use! I subscribed to like 15magazines and loved them and kept piles and piles of them! It got so out of hand. It feels so nice to get rid of things I don't need! I read both of Marie kondo's books last year and they were life changing!!!! Excited for you! 💕🙌

It’s become a regular thing to go through my clothes and get rid of what I don’t want easily. It also makes shopping easier cause I know what I actually need and what I can invest in. Shopping for makeup though I can get a little crazy and I’ve been working on that. Love you Dulce! PS I had recently watched your journaling video and checked out your blog too, it’s actually helped a lot, I used to write all the time and I stopped for a couple years and finding a new way to write again feels amazing. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

I for one am glad you’ve changed. I remember watching your giant hauls and thinking how crazy it was and how it was just too much. I’m glad you can admit it wasn’t healthy and you were a hoarder of clothes. Hope the young ladies out there take note and realize they don’t need material things to be happy. Unfortunately, that’s what all you tubers and fashion bloggers are indirectly teaching the young population.

Can relate 100% I just had this conversation with my boyfriend when he learned that I owned 52 pairs of shoes, my rationale being, growing up I had one pair for the entire year so it's almost compulsive for me to buy everything I feel like I never had. WOW!!!! I’m SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! @ 05:48
I really appreciate you sharing your story - as I felt I could relate to it in many ways..... many many many ways actually!
Especially the growing up wit very little money and material possessions that a lot of my friends and classmates had (and didn’t seem very appreciative for that matter) that I didn’t and always wanted .... and right when I started to make money... it was gone quicker than I got it! my mom and Lola would always call me a “one day millionaire” .... hahaha. Sad. But true! definitely working on it..... I’m being more mindful and aware of this problem that I have with my attachment to my VERY MANY material Possesions..... including the MULTIPLES I have in each item!!!
But like I said - this is exactly what I needed to see and hear right now ..... As silly as this sounds, I’m super serious!
So thank you so much! My lack of motivation has actually turned into much needed motivation and inspiration I got from watching your video - can’t wait to start! .... right Now!
    Thanks again! You’re the best!
    I’m officially subscribed :)
Look forward to checking out your channel and future uploads to come!!!

Thank you for this wonderful video, I been following you since the beginning, I love the mentality and how you see things differently. It brings more of positive vibes and the atmosphere in the room. Hopefully I can reach my goals of owing a house, so far I'm renting, it's a bit hard not to have much clutter. Lol. Once again thank you for this wonderful video.

thank you for this video! I’m guilty of doing the same, meaningless shopping just because. I’ve been purging all my things for months now because I only can do an hour in between EVERything else. Just like you , I loved the way I felt with the end result of my closet. Thanks for being open, honest, and genuine in your videos. Also, your eye makeup you wore with the “ monster truck” tee was 🔥🔥

New subscriber, I love your positivity and the message you're trying to relay, turning myself into a totally different chapter in my life, making huge changes totally understand you. From my job as a banker to business owner to getting rid of negative and unhealthy people to truly valuing what's in front and the big picture for me... anyways thank you for your content and I don't know if you can consider doing content on getting rid of negative or emotional vampires in your life... I would love to hear your point of view with this... best of luck on your journey 😄

Wow dulce. I watched your channel years ago and I eventually realized that while I love your channel it led to me to have unhealthy habits with buying so I left your channel and some others. I have become much more intentional with y buying since then Great to see this you are awesome.
