I miss those “greatest of” SNL DVDs where they compiled one SNL actor’s greatest sketches. Kenan definitely deserves one.

They did an hour long one on here when his show came out but it was a lot of newer stuff that's already all over TH-cam so it wasn't as great as it could have been.
The Eddie Murphy one is my favorite.
Today I found out that Kenan and I are the same age. He seems so personable and humble. He's made me laugh so hard for 30 years. Amazing talent.

Kenan elevates a lot of sketches that would otherwise tank. His mannerisms and facial expressions really sell his characters.

I doubt he'll remember me but I met Kenan at a old Nickelodeon thing in Washington DC, in the 90s. He had his back turned and when he saw me he gave me a handshake and hug but I couldn't say ANYTHING to him, lol. My dad was like "Go ahead Joe, say something!". I wash speechless cuz i watched him and Kel on All That and their own show and to see this man face to face, i couldnt handle it.
And now that i look at his age, he was only 8 years older than me. Crazy.
Kel was cool too, playing with slime and jamming with the kids.
Lori Beth Dinberg was there also, playing with the kids too and signing autographs. What a time to be a kid.
These shows have proven to be immediately beneficial to me. Thank you and please keep going.

I used to laugh like an insane person with Pierre Escargot. And Chappelles Show is my all time favorite sketch show. Neil Brennan has been indirectly affecting my comedy sensibilities for decades.
I'm in the same boat! Only just learned about his nickelodeon connection this week.
Ps - not to nitpick, but that seems rather direct. Indirect would be if you were a fan of stuff made by people who were fans of his stuff.

What's surprised/interested me so much about Kenan after learning more about him is his balance.
From what I can tell from his interviews and podcast spots is that he is introverted but connected to the outgoing/goofy part of him and you see it in his characters.
Comedic acting requires so much intelligence and intuition that it's obvious he's got an ample supply of both of those traits.
I love this podcast, I love hearing other people's idiosyncracies, it makes me feel like I'm not so weird with my minor OCD-type stuff.
This was such a wholesome conversation with the right amount of giggles

The way they closed this ugh chocked me up. I love it when men do that with one another.
I love how I grew up with Kenan but only in the last couple years have I gotten a feel for who he is as a person. Never forget this is the man who went on Hotboxin with Mike Tyson, had a disagreement on a topic with Mike and didn't flinch or change his stance at all when Mike got riled up in that way he does. In contrast certain "gangstas" like Boosie went on there and absolutely crumbled under Mikes scrutiny.
Knew very little about KT before this. Didn't know he and Neal had history. I like what I'm hearing from both. Good very funny people.
He's in the middle of the hardest thing in his life. Let's get him back in a couple years. When I was where he was, I was in a trance because the alternative was just total implosion. I feel for him.

Insightful SNL dream analysis
Dude went from Nickelodeon to SNL, that’s the arc and could legitimately be a movie after he retires from SNL.. He’s also extremely underrated! My favorite sketch of his might be the animal guy who had his dong ripped off by a monkey that then threw it at the exit sign
