- This is a 1961 Jawa 250cc and i tried to give you a ride experience and a walkthrough of this beautiful old motorcycle. This is one of the best jawa's in Hyderabad, India.

Hello, i am from the Czech rep. and i have to tell you that Jawa 250 (kývačka) is BEAUTIFUL and is nice how people in India every year celebrate Jawa. I have Jawa too but only 50/20 and it has 50cc.

I had one of these (actually, I had a 125 and then a 250) You have done an excellent job of restoring this motorcycle. I never had mine that clean!!!!!! Thanks for a wonderful video.
A very nice restoration of this legend, sold on all continents at the time, 60 years ago!

Kudos for the video man! That bike is in mint condition. My dad had one in his college days-it was his first bike, used it for motocross as well with modifications, still says that it was a great bike.

pretty neat bike first of all, kudos! don't mind it's sounded idle but it's ideal who brought JAWA to India. Back then in 50's not only jawa & RE but there were lot of options more than what we have today, British, German beauties like Triumph, Norton, BSA, AJS, Matchless, Ariel, DKW, BMW, MAY James, Cosak, Douglas and many more were there in 250, 500, 650 & 750 cc configuration with single & twin cylinders, the tech then is way ahead and awesome it were that's why these bikes still have their own charm & joy even after decades passed by. great work bro, cheers & all the best.

Bro from where you got the lamp which is in handlebar?
Even with the latest RC card make sure that the NOC is not issued to another place. Its a pain to cancel an NOC. You will have to pay penalty as well. If you pay green tax of 250 Rs, then RTA will give full details of the current bike owner, NOC details if issued or not. Alternate way is to check the RTA website if the RTA is already computerised. Type in the bike registration number and it will provide details of current owner and i guess NOC details too.
You should add details about the daug/dog which allows auto clutch operation. Open the side covers and on the right side you should show the part.

it's an ageless classic...however in today's world,with pollution norms being stricter day by day,the biggest challenge I believe would be 2 stroke vs 4 stroke fight....because 2 strokes are not allowed from pollution POV.....
Yes. atleast we are able to ride them legally in Hyderabad. if it was delhi then maybe we could just ride to some shows or so.

+Rohit i'm no expert but according to what i've read on the internet, jawa and cz were in collaboration.it was called jawa cz.
Cz also has its own models of motorcycles.
You might have seen cz emblem on the tank of some czech motorcycles.
Some jawa have cz engraved in the jawa emblem on the tank. These were manufactured when both companies were in collaboration.
Correct me if i'm wrong. I'm no expert and have no authenticity on this.

How much does it cost for an all original jawa ?
+Risheel Golla depends on the model and the condition. A decent one can be fetched in about 35-70k rupees but the one you see in this video is worth 1.5lakh atleast.
The jawa i have black one is not rare. This 1961 jawa is rare.

Once a guy came up to me to say that your bike has some fault..it smokes😂😂😂.
Btw thats a wonderful tank switch JAWA!!!
hehe thats because they dont see a 2stroke very often now and if a 4stroke emits smoke then it needs full engine overhaul. this is one reason people assume the bike needs to be repaired when a 2stroke smokes :)

12 hp 19Nm.. man i got one with fishtail exhausts (even better sound).. i can say.. very reliable, strong even in low RPM's, beautiful and much more
Kubik Smaza Awesome! Those silencers are very rare here in India and yes they sound better than this! lucky you man!
not so rare in my country-czech republic, those bikes were made here :D 54-58 years had those.. 57-58 were chaotic years a lot of changes on those bikes happened..so there were some with open air filters and cigar exhausts.. or fishtails or with closed filters and cigars BTW. nice Kyvačka :)
