    It is gratest honor serving as a rescue swimmer out of Kodiak alaska in my teen days

    AST is probably the highest honor of the Armed Forces,Can't wait till I join the family in my future!

    Im planning to become a rescue swimmer when i get out of high school. Im good at swimming, plus, im a boy scout, so hopefully, the skills i get from that can help me in the coast guard academy.

      isnt an ast enlisted only? if you go to the uscg academy don't you leave as an officer
