When I browse to the ux0:pspemu/PSP/ folder in Windows after connecting Vitashell with USB, the GAME folder is hidden even though I have windows set to show hidden folders. I can see the contents of the GAME folder just fine in Vitashell.
Are there any common issues that people run into with this method? I'm having trouble, I can install the game fine and have followed these steps to the letter but for some reason, when I go to play the installed game I just get a black screen and have to restart the PSP. This has probably been bought up before but any reply would be seriously helpful.
Issue with battery. Your battery gets drained running those games on your memory card. Try replacing the battery. Or try running your PSP with charger cable connected (powered on) and remove the battery. The PSP will still run as it is getting power from the charging cable. But if you disconnect the charger cable PSP will shut down (because no power source and no battery).

Hey man thanks for the tutorial as I was able to get Mega Man Legends onto my PSP 2000. Question though, and this is more of a unique situation but basically I wanted to play the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3 because the American version of the game barely has the content the JP version does. Now luckily Ace Combat fans recently released a full translation patch with English subtitles and all. After getting the JP version of the game patched and all that I put it into the eboot converter from the video and I may have messed something up or something because I get the black screen after it boots past the PlayStation screen and Namco screen on my PSP. I’m honestly not even sure if this is fully possible but it could be some mistakes on my part.

This has worked for me in the past pretty well except for trying to move save files about. The issue I've had is PS1 games that I play on my PS2 using POPSTARTER create VM saves. I've found out how to convert the VM save to a PS1 memory card save and a PSP save from there, but the PSP saves seem to be in the format of PSP minis as are the eboots created by PSX2PSP. I've yet to find a way to go backward from the PSP mini save back to a PS1 save back to a VM save. Using a PS3 doesn't seem to work either as the PS3 sees the save as a PSPMini save and will not copy them to a PS1 memory card.
I just downloaded ARK4 for PSPGO. I have everything installed but how do I go about playing PS1 games on the go without a disc? I only have the file itself
im trying to do the conversion process. but even if it reaches 100% (1/3 attempts) it never seems to be done. the files are there in the destination folder but they wont boot on the PSP. compression is set to 0 EDIT: i was able to get the file to convert by switching the TOC to .cue however the game still wont boot on the psp.
Tried loading up a game and it results in a black screen, i seen some say the Name could cause it, no luck. Used Popsloader, No luck either I'm so confused right now.

Not sure why but on PSP Worms Armageddon go's to a black screen after the start video. But using a emulator and the bin/backed up file it works fine. It mite have to do with loading the save maybe. YOU ARE THE BEST BUDDDDY
Interesting... I haven't run into that. But the most I've done is take a PS1 save and convert it to a compatible PSP save
How is the game performance? Do most games work fine?
Yep!
Didn't work for me, I just get black screens on all roms converted this way. Seems I am not the only one with this issue either.
I just downloaded ARK4 for PSPGO. I have everything installed but how do I go about playing PS1 games on the go without a disc? I only have the file itself
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 aren't working for. The screen just goes black and the bios doesnt even show
I have an issue when i run my game i get an error code and it simple says game cannot start ps: trying to run mgs1
im trying to do the conversion process. but even if it reaches 100% (1/3 attempts) it never seems to be done.
the files are there in the destination folder but they wont boot on the PSP.
compression is set to 0
EDIT: i was able to get the file to convert by switching the TOC to .cue however the game still wont boot on the psp.
Tried loading up a game and it results in a black screen, i seen some say the Name could cause it, no luck. Used Popsloader, No luck either
I'm so confused right now.
Why am I getting an error that says that I haven't loaded a PBP file when I loaded my ps1 game?
Where to find pictures / images for the games?
Google Images
I can not understand why but sometimes games were working fine on my console but were showing black screen on others
Next video : how to run ps1 and ps2 games on a ps3 with no backwards compatibility
Already did
@@MrMario2011 lmao
I can’t even open the psx2psp app. What am I doing wrong?
And what if you don't want that psx cartridge frame? how can you don´t put that? i did it but a long time ago and now that i do this it has that tiny frame and it looks horrible on the ps vita frame, like blurry,i want the game picture without the psx frame,is there any chance to do that?.
This would only be funny if you backed up everything and it was actually backwards compatible with PS3 games now he has the games but no console to play on
Watch the tutorial quick question how do I burn those files to Cd so I can play them on my ps1.
Thanks
Keep at it
Trying!
Are anyone else's subtitles showing as Vietnamese? All my settings are set to English. I don't know what's going on.
Hey man it keeps saying not pvp selected and idk what it mean but I have a cfw that u actually taught me to download
I have some issues by compressing games i think... when games are loading between levels they get stuck. I've already tried to change compression rate but i have same problem, nothing changed, what can i do?
Why can't I rename the converted ps1 folder before putting it in the psp?
I'm getting this problem where either the game is corrupted (I've tried multiple games) or the psx2psp just gets stuck at 100% any tips to fix or correct these errors?
I got error message when trying to convert the .bin -file: psx2psp access violation at address 00476CDE, and in the PSP, PS1 games won't open, just a black screen. Can you help me? I tried different PSX2PSP .rar files already.
So I got everything done, I’m using a psvita, and I’m trying to get Diablo PlayStation edition to run on Adrenaline.
But when I get to the part of uploading the game folder, about 80% of the way in
It says that my connection is disconnected
And then it won’t reconnect my psvita and the game file data is corrupted and I gotta start over again.
Am I missing somethin here?
please answer quickly i need help, my psp eboots worked fine, but today i started my psp only to discover that all my ps1 games output no sound and run too fast to be playable, what is the problem?are there solutions?Thank you very much for the answer!
Is there any way to change the settings of the emulator itself? or is it just stuck in 4:3? (Im aware of scaling, I want it to be a bigger native resolution though)
hi thank you for this and all your tutorials, but for me the ps1 part of adrenaline simply can't launch games, it goes black screen, i tried four diferent games with different or no compression, can anyone help me please
p.s. the same pbp games run fine on epsxe
Love the video. But I have a problem with the screen staying blank when i start the game. Any suggestions?
Change compression to 0, others have reported that helping.
Any advice on getting Digimon World 3/2003 to run on PSP Go running CFW?
Is it going to be a problem if the EBOOT is more than 2 Gigs? I converted The Legend of Dragoon without compressing it. Will the PSP still be able play it?
Awesome, but I can't get ingame music for the ridge racers working.
Some games will have issues like that, I've run into the same thing with CDDA tracks.
Resident Evil 2 is already on PS Vita but can we play Digimon World 3? I tried but nothing works so if you could show that it is possible.
Is there any bin cue converter for use with psx eboots for android. I do not have a pc
Ok but how I can make a psx game with the option to remove filtering on psp go? Game screen is too small or looks blurry as fk in any other resolution
Every game works except SOTN. I don't understand.
what to do if I got black screen? does it have to do with compression? also sometimes I get rar files that have like 30 tracks of one game. should i just extract the first one?
You should revisit the ps2 and free mcboot
I did multiple times.
I know it's a hard ask but could you show us a way to run the ps1 harry potter games on psvita I know there's a small group of people looking for a way to do that
Where did you get the art and background images? You showed how to add them but never explained where they came from
Google Images, nothing special.
@@MrMario2011 yea I figured it out but thanks. I do have a problem I can't figure out though. I made an eboot with a multidisc game (braindead 13) and when it says to switch to disc 2 I try and it says "the game did not prompt you to change discs". Do you have any idea how to fix that? I used compression level 3 and if I reset into disc 2 it loads the 2nd disc but says to insert disc one like the physical game would so I know it's got both discs in the eboot and is working.
Which version is working as the one I'm using 1.4v has issues it gets stuck at 96% and when I have the eboot it gets stuck at 100%
I remember this.. o did this too resident evil nemesis and put a mod menu before i conver to psp
Hello Mrmario, i have problem to save My game progress when playing ps1 games on my psp
Not sure why but on PSP Worms Armageddon go's to a black screen after the start video. But using a emulator and the bin/backed up file it works fine. It mite have to do with loading the save maybe. Because after the video its post to show a ui checking for a save game. Not sure if its something to do with my back up file maybe. Something mite have messed up backing it up. Or something to do with PSX2PSP it's self. It seams to work fine with my other games though. I'll try ripping the file again latter and see if that fix it. I also tried setting 0 compression and see if maybe that help. But it just gets stuck at 69% lols.
