Stat boost doesn't seem to do anything for me. I see the buff them check my stats and they are all the same as if nothing has changed

This build kicks so much butt dude, holy smokes. Leviathans breath, a good pulse rifle, and either a stasis side arm with headstone or the prolonged smg, had me go flawless in today's lost sector on master multiple times. I can't believe I never came across this build. Verglas curve is also fun to with it I also found that the speedloader slacks is also really good with ability recharge. If you can get to x6 it helps a lot, but it's dependent on getting kills.

Pls do it soon Dorvarich. From my testing, it feels like Stack on Stacks + Empowered finish + Reaper is your best bet to reliably refund Duskfields while having Renewals.
Gameplay loop should be:
-Use a finisher on enemies (get 2 armor charge)
-Throw 1 melee followed by dodge (to proc impact induction & bomber)
-Kill an enemy to proc Reaper (get 2 armor charge)
-Throw grenade (consume 4 armor charge for grenade kickstart)
-Destroy stasis crystal (for fast ability regen)
-Repeat

Great build! You can run headstone+wellspring together on weapons (like raconteur) which isn’t as effective as demo specifically but will spread 8% back into your cooldowns.

Farmed the last few stasis fragments today and ran a solo lost sector. Loving the build so far! Thank you for sharing it. I’ve never been a huge stasis fan but this pairs incredibly well with Perseus scout rifle + Headstone and has been pretty fun.

I got stasis and just barely got enough memory fragments to have 6 in total and I ended up running this EXACT build with the exception of the exotic (that I don't own, YET).
A couple fun things to add to this:
Obviously, if you're a fan of the Verglas Curve, the stasis crystals generated can be popped for grenade recovery and can even be strategically popped one at a time over the course of a firefight to get the buff lasting for around 15 seconds before they automatically shatter on their own. By that point, if your bow is still in your hands, you can do it all over again with the crystal charges you gathered from killing smaller enemies.
At 11:07, Mactics specifies that killing an enemy will trigger a shatter if they're frozen that will pop your crystal and grant you your grenade regeneration without you wasting time shooting something that isn't an enemy. This IS a good tip but this is actually a decision making point IMMEDIATELY in the ability rotation, because shooting your crystal will detonate and likely kill smaller enemies faster than even shooting them directly would when using an automatic midrange weapon (anything that isn't bursty, like: shotguns, snipers, bows, etc.).
Your charged melees BOUNCE off surfaces, to a degree and they tend to seek out the location of the nearest enemy when they do. It's a bit tricky because it isn't always 100% reliable but you can do some really neat bankshots by skipping your shuriken off of the floor or walls, and this property has even netted me some cheeky kills in crucible, lol.
Your Stasis shards are important for generating overshields but if you aren't in any danger and you have a full set of two shuriken, consider tossing one out for free damage as you run over shards, as it will generate it back REALLY quickly. You're essentially running over ammo bricks for your melee that ALSO give you shielding, so you might as use your ammo to maximize how much each pickup is worth.
Love your builds. I used the arc hunter build before lightfall and several others. You helped me a lot with the endgame.
I just came back to D2, haven't played since leviathan launched, it is basically a new game with how much it has changed. I can't tell you how helpful this video was for me.
Great to see your take on this build! I especially like the heavy lean into grenade regen so you can still get your duskfield back quickly if you use it defensively. Hedrons was also an interesting choice! Can't wait to try this out!
I haven't touched hedrons since it's nerfs as it used to increase weapon dmg by 20% for free. I normally run whisper of torment for grenade regen especially in GMs
Hedrons with Verglas Curve is just crazy good. You’ll always be able to refresh the 10 sec stat buff
@@erluq9309 I have a habit with bows where on release I typically release the aim downsite. Which is a habit I developed after doing hundreds of GM's with bow and avoid tunnel visioning and getting flanked. However with new stasis bow I find myself unintentionally creating shards. I kind of wished it worked the same way as vex mythoclass or quicksilver storm with an alternative fire mode
@@stephenquaye8860 I think if they made that change, they would hv to rework the catalyst perk bcs the catalyst wants you to alternate between normal and freeze shot mode in quick succession so if we hv to press/hold down a button to enter freeze shot mode it will be a bit clunky to use the catalyst benefit
Mactics, I know you will never see this but you are the reason I went back to my hunter for PvE. As good as hunters are in the crucible, I got tired of using the same playstyle of COD:AW in a game where you have three classes with unique gameplay to choose from. Then, I watched your Omnioculus build before the WQ expansion launched. I went from jumping around corners with a shotgun to grinding pve activities for armour, weapons, and to become more familiar with void hunter. I loved every second of it. I moved my PvP stuff to warlock, where the Stag exotic allowed me to fulfill my dreams of being useful by healing my teammates even after death. I realised even without good mods, armour, weapons or exotics anyone can enjoy void hunter for solo and team play.
After a while, I went back to my two other classes with a renewed mindset on both PvE and PvP. I made my own builds with whatever I had available and I had fun. If I had never seen your build video, I would have kept my mindset if hunters being useless in PvE. So I subscribed, watched every build video. I'm watching this one because I recently got a good Frostees world drop and want to make stasis fun again. So again, thanks Mactics.
I've always paired Fr0st-EE5 with Stasis. Just seems like a perfect match both thematically as well as practically due to the lengthier charge times for abilities. Will definitely be trying this out.

final shape added a heavy burst hand cannon that can be crafted to have headstone/demolitionist
The exotic bow for season of defiance is a great choice for this build, it creates crystals and generally always appears in the artifact since it’s a bow

"Extrapolate" is a more specific word, meaning "to take a rule that applies to one known situation or set of data and apply it to a new, unknown situation or set of data" (e.g. "Let's extrapolate what we know about the subclass 3.0 system to the next darkness subclass and make some rudimentary predictions about the new aspects and fragments.") "Extrapolate" also doesn't take a preposition like "on," you "extrapolate (x idea/rule) to (y new situation or dataset)"

I so so so miss playing stasis hunter. When 3.0 elements came out I started messing around with them and basically just forgot about stasis and how good it was. But this 🤌with the new stasis bow. Will absolutely get me a stasis hunter main again

Used in the Spire on master, it's not bad, but other builds are definitely better. Trying to find an optimal weapon loadout for this

The click bait on destiny build showcases is kinda crazy. Much worse than other games.
Hyperbole. The same way people call things "OP", "BUSTED", "CRACKED", etc etc...
Its what humans do, they exaggerate when it comes to the things they love. Our language has adapted to perceive "BROKEN" as "this is pretty damn good!" rather than its literal interpretation of "not working properly/breaking the game." However "This build is pretty good" doesnt have the same ring.
The reality of the situation is I am merely a herald for the audience. The reason the titles are as such is because those are the ones that you and audiences click on. Just feeding demand. At the end of the day, its important to remember that the title and thumbnails themselves don't add to or take away from the quality of the actual video itself. You'll watch the video and make up your own mind regarding the strength of the build regardless of what the title says.

But that said, you make the best build videos hands down and they take a lot of work. It sucks to put in that work and then not get views. And you are competing for views with a whole slew of other creators at a time when everyone is looking for new builds at once.

Awesome build! One thing I’d like to add, if not already widely known, is the awesome synergy with Ager’s Scepter. The weapon will instantly freeze all surrounding targets after a kill. The freezing effect will ensure constant buffs and synergy with the load out you provided in the video.

I just got back into destiny after dropping off before forsaken for financial reasons and you videos have been not only great for catching up on what's good but also a surprisingly great refresher on mechanics that I've been having trouble with. So thank you for you help and know that I'll be working towards this build cause it looks so freakin cool.
Finally got a riptide with lead from gold and demo. It def makes up for the lousy cooldown with renewal grasps. Running one or 2 innervation mods helps as well, which i prefer over kickstart/finisher mods. Great builds from u and Dorvarich ❤

This build is absolutely amazing! I just ran a Legend Avalon and let me tell you...even with my mobility at 100 and my strength and discipline in the 50's, the uptime is incredibly fast. Throw grenades, use your melee, dodge, and you'll have consistent uptime on all abilities along with potent damage resistance. Absolutely amazing and recommend to all for it's endgame capability and ease of use 💥

I don't run my Hunter much at all (Titan main) so this video has helped out quite a bit. Used Ager's Scepter with it and it works really well. Appreciate it!
14:00 Headstone + wellspring can be rolled on a hand cannon called “Something New” from the crappy bonfire game mode in the EAZ. Might be worth pulling out after the primary weapon buffs but it’s a 120 for good or for worse

I appreciate the builds you’ve put out. I’ve been playing warlock for so long, it’s been nice to change it to hunter. Still play both but with all the hunter builds you’ve put out, I find myself using hunter the most.
I used to roxk a variwnt of this build before renewals were added. Post nerf i havent gone back but this is great. Nice vid.
Mactics , wouldn’t whisper of conduction be a better fragment, because the shards will come to you, within 10meters, you’ll have an over shield for protection at will. Hedrons is solid but in a fire fight I don’t want to have to collect the shards , just be close , especially in cover and I got em!… what do you think?!?… btw,I do run 100 resilience and discipline so at least I’m 32% shielded …your input means a lot to me , I follow you and are a fan of your builds!
