I’m guessing this is a 4 medium weight. Big Twist acrylic comes in medium and super bulky but it looks like this is medium weight?
Can i use 4.5mm if I don't have 5.5mm

Did you use the recommended hook size and yarn weight? I find that it affects the size a lot more than I would expect 😊
I crochet very tight so I sometimes go up a whole hook size.
