Beautiful work! I do these with water color papers too..for me I have found cuffs online amazon eBay a few jewelry stores that I use for high end silver gold etc..I have used brass cuffs as well
So clever! Thanks Michelle. I'm going to give this a go.i wonder how a flat brush would work.🤔 Hope you're well! Great to see you being a part of FAB! Now, I just need one to come to Chicago! A 2 hour train ride away for me!💜
I do want to thank you for the help on finding them cuff bracelets. Really hard to find. Also I believe they have changed the name of rings and things. I'm not completely sure. So check that out. Anyways love your work and again thank you😊
Just FYI the website is: rings-things.com. The site doesn’t seem to be working right now. Have been in communication with them. Hoping to get some cuffs soon!
Thanks for the video Michelle! These are so pretty! Love the tips on removing the skins from the tiles and on storing them! I have the two beautiful bracelets from your auction and wondered how you made them, so this showed me how you created them! Can you please tell me again where you got your blanks? Maybe a link? Thanks again!
Hello Michelle - this is awesome - ironically I just bought the bracelet shells for a pop up that I am doing - THANK YOU, I had so much trouble getting the skins off my tiles - this is an awesome tip - my husband says thank you too as I have been having him do the skin removal - lol - Cannot wait to see your website too -
I inlay my cuff bracelet’s with flowers and opals. I use ca glue and accelerator to permanently bond inlay materials the. After I get it all glued I either wet sand it by hand with 90 grit and go all the way up to 2000. I do that with my Dremel and lathe to for sanding, and polishing. Then I use jewelry polish for the buff and shine. My method is more advance and takes time to learn like inlay rings.
These are amazing! Thank you for your wonderful video! You are a master at skin making! I noticed you don't glue the skins down on the bracelet. They will still stay in place over time? Thank you.
These are beautiful! I've been playing around with flow paint skins and attempting to make jewelry, so this is helpful. I have found that triple thick can discolor over time. Maybe liquid glass would be an alternative, or UV resin.
Hi Michelle, I tried using the triple thick however there were a lot of areas that bubbled up after drying, they are not smooth like yours. Should these be glued down first and then use the triple thick?
I absolutely LOVE my bracelet!! I’ve spent the past 3 hours trying to order from Rings and Things but can’t get their website to let me check out!! I did find them on Etsy but they were more expensive. If you have any tricks on how to order from Rings and Things PLEASE let me know because there’s several things on there I’d like to order!! I also wonder how TriArt would do on these since it looks like Resin but is much softer?! 🤔 Thank you so much Michelle!! 🤗💐
Hi Michelle, you said it does not need to be overnight in water, could you tell me how long it should be in water to make sure we can peel it easily. Thanks!
@@gratefulcreations Thank you. I am new to this. I am doing just the jewelry aspect of it, I make jewelry. I am always trying to find new things to keep my stock updated.

Beautiful Ma’am 😍

Tell me more about soaking the tiles in water to remove the skin. Do you have to have pillow paint poured on first before putting on your colors?

That happens with me all the time with the blade coming out.😊
Do you pour your paint on the tiles 18:11
Yes. I create the tiles. Wait abiut a week for them to cure then I soak them in warm water. The skins peel right off

Some of the skins look like they have raised sections. Can you use those sections or will it show under the cabochon? Love your work, beautiful.
The glaze fills in those sections. It’s magic
@@gratefulcreations Thank you. I am new to this. I am doing just the jewelry aspect of it, I make jewelry. I am always trying to find new things to keep my stock updated.
Cool idea! Do you know if the metal you use tarnishes or if it is hypo allergenic? Also, How much do you sell them for?
I’m not quite sure. I think they are stainless steel so I don’t think the my tarnish. And $45
Beautiful work! What are skin off tiles? :-)
Acrylic paint pour
How do you keep the skins from sticking together in the box? Also, my blade falls out all the time too. Infuriating!! Lol Beautiful bracelets!
I keep my skins in plastic page protectors. Put in a sheet of typing paper, or light cardstock and you can store skins on both sides. Hope that helps.
Thank you Michelle! LOVE those bracelets❣️I have a question, how do you get any dried varnish off the metal? I’m super messy and I already know what I would do. Lol
Hello unfortunately your website does not work right now.
I’ll have to check that out
