First car and nearly 10 years later it still hasn't left me sit. Reliable and easy to work on too!

My first car, a black OZ Rally like the one in the opening shot. Mine had the 5-speed
I really miss that little car never should've sold it

My first car too. I still own it and it's still pretty reliable. It's always cheeper for me to fix it than to replace it for now. Although I'm having a harder time finding replacement parts for certain things.

My first car that I got in 2019, I still have it. It's a 2002 Silver OZ Rally with the 4-speed auto. I don't think the trans is in good shape but it is a very fun car to drive and I've recently taken it on multiple trips over 2 hours. I would like to get another one day but with the 5-speed manual. A great example of cars not needing a lot of power to be cool and fun

I love Mitsubishi, but I think this review was being kind to this model Lancer. The previous generation model had better dynamics, was faster even with the 1.8ltr, used less fuel and had better sound insulation from road noise. Other than being bigger, slightly better equipped, and riding better, there wasn't much going for the CH Lancer.
The next generation CJ was a major improvement and a lot more worthy of the Mitsubishi badge.

I had the 2002 mirage coupe for years. You might be right. What car do you have?

My 1996 toyota Camry 2.2 litre had 125 horsepower. The car accelerated from 0-60MPH around 11.5 seconds. The car was painfully slow but it was extremely reliable.

I still see them. They're not groundbreaking or anything but they're really not bad cars. It doesnt really compete against the civic and corolla of the same era in terms of efficiency and reliability but at least it's not as boring. You're still getting a good car for a good price that is generally reliable. I would buy another one just to feel the difference between the automatic and manual transmissions, and so i can start fresh and tastefully modify one.
