Hi Ashika, should we have the 2538 pounds from the date we entered the ballot or have that amount after applying into the ballot for visa purpose?
Are we allowed to enter the ballot even if we have current valid UK visa like student visa or if we're about to apply for student Visa or apply graduate visa and if we get selected in the ballot, are we eligible to apply for visa keeping in mind already having a valid visa

Hi Ashika. I applied in 2023 and got an email two days later that I'm not eligible for the ballot, even though I meet all the criterias. Any idea why that would have happened or if I made a mistake in the application? Thanks!
Hey it might have been a bug. If you meet the criteria (please check carefully) go ahead and apply again.

No. The ballot is just based on luck
Those who have misplaced/ lost their passports and reapplied it but it will take 2 weeks to get the new one, can we apply for this scheme this time with original scanned copy of passport. Then after selection, can submit the new passport

@@Yougotthis11011 there’s no clear guidance on it honestly so you can try but the challenge comes if the system considers it a different passport once you apply if you get selected in the ballot. It could get rejected.

You don't have to pay for anything while applying for the ballot. The IHS fees are during the visa stage.
