As always you do amazing sensitive work and watching you is an education in how to think and feel. I liked that you said that you made a mistake and how to fix it. Comforting for us lesser mortals! Would be very interested in your course, but illness and another course i am already committed to mean its not possible this year. I hope you will do another year when i shall be differently situated i hope!

Super👌! It’s really true that it’s better to keep it simple without too much going on. And that is soo difficult, I tend to put too much elements wheter I’m painting or trying to make collage. So much to learn, especially to hold my horses 😅.

Am overwhelmed researching, I like how you just get a dab of the gel, etc, apply, etc…
I use Liquitex matte medium
and Talens Amsterdam gel medium

Hello, I only just discovered your you tube channel. Thank you for sharing! In this video you are using a monoprint(?) on tissue paper. Any idea how the image of the woman was transferred to the tissue paper?
I transferred the image of the woman with an gel plate and acrylic paint.

Lydia do till use wallpaper paste?
I like wallpaper paste and still use them.
but I got a lot of replies that wallpaper paste won't work for people who live in a humid climate zone.
Because silverfish eat wallpaper paste. And if you have a problem with silverfish in your house you shouldn't work with wallpaper paste.
Unfortunately I don't have a problem with these little bugs but I can't sell collages made with wallpaper paste because I don't know what conditions are in the new home ;-)
How do you clean your brushes after your done with all that glue on the brush i know you use wall paper glue but do you wash them
I clean my brushes with water.
Hi Lydia, do you ever wet your collage papers in water before gluing them down. I have heard that can really help flatten the paper to the painting to make it look part of the piece and help prevent air bubbles? Thank you. I love the black and white papers you’re using here. Fabulous!
@@christinemullie1253 never wet my collage paper. can‘t see any benefit for my work. I think it really depends on the paper you use. I did a lot of testing and experimenting till I found my way of working. there is no right or wrong, you only have to find your way to work with your materials.
