  • Why I do this year-long collage project?
In this video I share with you the making of collage no. 39 fand some thoughts about the project, why I do it and what I learnt so far.
The idea of the COLLABORATIVE COLLAGE CHALLENGE project is
to create small collages out of material that comes from people
around the globe to connect with my community and to challenge myself.
The biggest challenge for me is to create collages with random collage pieces. It's totally out of my comfort zone and every singe collage is teaching me a lot about myself and collage making in general.
Each week, I share tips, tricks, advice and inspiration to help you getting back into the creative flow 🙌

I have really enjoyed watching you create all of the collage’s, it is reassuring to know that sometimes it takes you hours, sometimes I have to go back and look the following day in order to see what it needs. Thank you so much for your commitment to the challenge and for sharing your process

Hello Lydia! I would love to see you recreate some of these collages, but using your own pieces/papers that you really love. I think it would be cool to see your piece side by side the inspiration.

And another great one 'hits the dust'. This is an old saying, meaning something like 'dust off your hands and forge ahead with the next - good work!' Thank you, Lydia.

Hi Lydia. I can relate to everything you speaks about, especially talking English and work at the same time when your a Dane or German. Also the eternal same question, what do you do with all your collages, of course sell them if anyone is interested, but even if I don’t sell, I could not stop making them because it’s something I have to do to stay happy and well. I have done several collage projects with others where we exchange materials, and also where we both work with a the same materials. It is very challenging to use other peoples sometimes not very likeable materials, but it’s dry interesting to se how different the outcome is. I really admire your way of working. BwLisbeth
