I was on the beach 2 years ago and a large group of young balinese men threw all their rubbish on the sand. Food and cigarette boxes. I piontedly picked it all up right in front of them. Tidda bagus!!
After travlling to Bali 30 times between 2009 - 2018 I haven't been back since. Sad to see the natural erosion on Pantai Kuta. Also I don't like how they've just covered the beach with semi-permanent warungs. Kuta still looks like it's on life support as far as tourism goes, especially in mid-December which is prime holiday season. I stayed at Kartika Plaza before, amazing hotel! Those beach front villas are MAHAL SEKALI!!
The government will hurry in cleaning up the beaches? That's new. Like I wrote before, the solutions are education (don't throw plastics away except in dedicated trash cans) and -even more importantly- a better organised trash collection in every city and banjar all over Indonesia. If people know where they can get rid of their trash safely, they might do so.
Very saddening to see all this trash, terrible... True, eduction is needed, all over Indonesia (and let's stretch that all over the world cuz of the plastic soup) cuz it's one thing to clean up the beaches but the trash shouldn't end up there in the first place... The room elevated on poles looks pretty neat 👍

Kuta Beach dosen't look like a beach.
Tree house
Kuta lost its charm (the beach)
Dont visit the beaches in bali during rainy season...that's the best solution😂
