OMG.....I’m so glad Justin referred us to you. This was one of the best waterscape tutorials I’ve seen to date. You explained everything every step of the way without holding back. Thank you. I wish all artists who have videos do the same thing. Thank you immensely.
I stumbled across Justin's channel and ended up over here because of your collaboration. I really enjoyed watching to people work on the same image! THANKS
I just have to say. This is the firs time I have actually painted and it looked like the one in the video lol Something about the way you teach, just helped me "Get it" So thank you
This is a very nice painting . Thank you for the clear demonstration. The only thing I would do differently are the strokes of foam at the top of the large wave. I would have liked it less spikey.
Aint fair...no one should be able to paint somethin so spectacular, so easily...not fair.... i like Acrylics over Oil...the only Oil i like is for fryin my foods...yuk yuk.... but this is a wonderful lesson...real helpful...thank u Ashley, once again for sharin ur awesome talent with us...U Rock Ashley.... 😉👌👍
Love this one the most !! Thank you so much for sharing this with us !! This is definitely one I will be trying out :) thank you again love love love your amazing talent !!
Wow! This so beautiful paint I always admire you I hope one day I will be so good like you , following your steps and paint with you 😍😍😍. Oh by the way a bout the acrylic paint and oil paint which one is the easiest to use? Or best? Although I get irritated in my throat when I use oil paints. Thank you for the vid
It is all about personal preferences. Not one is easier over the other. It is about getting to know your medium and choose what works best for you. I find acrylics are easier to travel with and less messy. The fast drying is important to me. Back when I painted more with oils, I switched over to water mixable oils because I didn't want the exposure to chemicals during pregnancy and with kids around. If they give you a reaction don't use.
@@Createfulart Thank you so much for the reply, Okay yeah I gree with you it's more easier with Acrylics than oil paints yes the oil paint does react on me so I will go for acrylics . 😊😊😊
I’m trying this painting now and it is drying way to fast for me to blend. I added liquid from liquitex to extend drying and it’s still drying too fast. It’s 94 here today but I do have air conditioner on. Thanks
Are you using the Sta-wet palette? This will keep your paints nice and wet. You can see it in my recommended supplies here: www.createfulart.com/art-supplies.html It helps to keep the paints nice and wet from the very beginning because paints drying on your palette will make it hard to spread on your canvas. Another thing you can do is wet your entire canvas before adding your paint.
Hey im a New subscriber to your channel and i am starting my online art store. I am inspired buy your painting and Would like to know if it is okay for me to paint this painting in my point of view and if i can sell it?
Hi Angela. All my paintings are copyrighted and for personal use only. But this one in particular was a collaboration and I used Paintings By Justin's reference. So you should ask him. My best advice to you as a new artist starting your store is to provide something unique to you. That is where success is found. Have fun and good luck!

Yes I keep my paints wet with spray bottle, I sprayed my canvas before it started. I’m guessing it’s because it’s so hot and humid here in Maryland.
Try slow drying medium found here: amzn.to/2H4542P
thanks dear😍

Every time I have painted on canvas panel it bends!
You don't have to paint on a canvas panel, especially if it is frustrating for you. The reason they warp is too much water.
@@Createfulart ..lol.. I didn't use water
Interesting. What brand are you using, may I ask?
