    Beautiful thought: Motivate…don’t manipulate!

Sonya, your videos have been inspirational to me as I'm recovering from knee surgery and can't go to any homeschool conference right now. I've graduated one using CM methods and alot of SCM materials. Thank you so much for taking time to discipling us. I have five more at home 17-6 🥰

This was a great tie in for the Morning Time for Moms Summer Course that I am doing with Cindy Rollins but a personal reminder to apply these things in my own life. We need to have the balance in our own lives given that our children/grandchildren are taking in the atmosphere they live in with us. Thank you as always Sonya.

Hi Sonya, have you considered making a serial of video stream lectures of your SCM curriculum?

Thank you for the suggestion. We have a video series that walks families through Charlotte's method and a typical day that is available in both a streaming and physical option: simplycharlottemason.com/store/learning-and-living/

Could you speak on going from narration to essay form for high school college bound students?

Hi, You may find this post helpful on Narration and Composition in High School:

Also, I have three adoptive kiddos that are slow and steady with learning. Is it okay if they don't graduate at 18 or 19? What if it's 20? I just don't want to rush them into something they cannot handle emotional or physically?

Amber, my son finished high school at age 20 because he was very ill at age 14 and now has a mild brain injury. It took that long for him to get through school and now he is studying at university. Again, this will take him longer but he is happy and enjoying his studies. Take the time that your kids need.

Absolutely, we would recommend that you proceed at their pace and not rush them through just to finish at a set time if they are not ready. Your question reminds me of this post:
