Amen, thank you for this video! I have personally seen the benefits of humbling myself before God in prayer and submitting my day to Him - He gives abundant grace when we do this!
I am from Romania (Europe), I discoverd you 3 weeks ago by a friend. I will start kindergarden with my 4 year old girl in august, at home and I want to thank you for the good ideas and all the support I took from your videos. You are the one that gave me the courrage to take the decission. God bless you! hugs!
Wow. Thank you for such realistic prompts and ideas for parent habit making. I just recently started a "no more yelling" campaign in my own life and this video is a wonderful asset
Instead of "No yelling" I am trying to think/speak/act "Be gentle" - cos that is a fruit of the Spirit I need to cultivate, and that will take care of it all
This is my hearts desire to maintain a sweet even temper. It seems like the harder I try sometimes the harder it is. Thanks so much for the wisdom and examples.
You are very welcome. Forming new habits can be very hard work for us as well as for our children. Here is another post of encouragement: simplycharlottemason.com/blog/god-and-habit-training/
Oof. “MORE SLEEP… Simplify…” (especially physical possessions)….. Those hit me HARD, and I wept. God is GOOD - I really needed to hear this. Thank you. ♥️🥺
Thank you so much! This practical advice needs to be heard again and again... as we, each on of us, are sinners and are so in need of mercy and understanding and aid! ❤️
Struggling with getting enough sleep. Need to SIMPLIFY! Thank you so much for posting this. ❤️ Help us raise up these children to godliness Lord Jesus Christ!
I am just sooo blessed by these videos. I am a stay at home mama (on my husbands account) with 4 kiddos, 5 and under and have been constantly praying for wisdom to raise them up. I’m just so grateful the Lord brought your channel to my feed, it is really truly an answer to prayer!
So glad that you have found this channel and you have felt blessed by it! Please reach out with any questions that you may have as you move forward with learning about and implementing Charlotte Mason's methods and into your home.
Your insight on parenting is wonderful, thank you! It reminds me of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) interaction with children. One mother gave her young son Anas to aid the Prophet when he was only ten years old. Anas reported: I served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never even said to me, “Uff!” He never said harshly, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?”.
God is just so awesome!. He certainly knows how to bring the right resources our way, when we cast our burdens on him. Thank you so much for this. I'm so grateful to God for sending this video my way. Now I'm so rest assured that God is with me in this journey to becoming a better, sweet, yet firm mom.❤ His grace is sufficient
I needed this so much. I am going to start working on my attitude (being annoyed) towards things my children need. I’m not like this all the time but I think it is what is affecting my 8 year old sons heart attitude. He’s the child that takes after me the most in defiance and independence and we are more likely to butt heads during the day.
I can personally relate, Melanie. Thank you for sharing. Have you seen this blog we did with Ginger Hubbard about this very topic? simplycharlottemason.com/blog/i-cant-believe-you-just-said-that/
Sonya, I'm so glad I found you!! ❤ About temper... Do you have some material about child tantrums? Or do you recommend some place where I could read/learn more about it through Charlotte Mason approach? Otherwise, i would make the request of you doing a podcast about tantrums and how to regulate a child. Would be that possible? I would really appreciate. Thank you 🙏

@@SimplyCharlotteMason thank you. Your words have encouraged me. I’ll be reading those blog posts for sure. God is so faithful and has been so patient with me. I’ve homeschooled my older two, going into our eighth year now. But even with them, I haven’t been nearly as disciplined or balanced as I want to be. My oldest is beginning 9th grade and the anticipation of it has pushed me to try and completely change the trajectory of our homeschool journey, especially with the trauma we’ve endured the last few years. The Lord is ever-so-gently leading me to this method, especially with my youngest! He answers prayers!

Dads need to learn to keep an even temper as well. I’m watching this to learn!
Good for you for realizing that! More dads should be encouraged to also learn to keep an even temper. It is so important!
