Hello to you, I'm from NY too and you we always trying to save a buck. This vid saved me a hundred of them. Nissan wanted to fail my inspection because the lights were out. They told me that the labor was 100.00 if they did it, I asked "well what if I went to auto zone and got the lights myself?" They came back and said "well if you leave we gotta charge you an 11.00 fee for reinspection", lol 11.00 vs 100.00 I said "bet, be right back lol" it took longer to find the lights in the store then it did to fix the lights thanks to your vid thank you Mami I really appreciate you and this vid
Yeerrrr!! You know how we do! Thanks for watching my videos! I don't do car stuff anymore, but I leave this up cause it helps so many people every week!!
worked on a 2010 rogue, too. thank you! To loosen the bulb connectors, it's righty tighty, lefty loosey. Minding the position of those lengthwise ''fins'' helps with re-aligning after the new bulbs are put in
For people that are going to do this. I suggest you to check your local traffic law. It is not about visibility. It is more like the color of lights annoy/bother/confuse other drivers. For example, legally you can only have white color bulbs only in WI
Thank-you for the video and below comments. Police pulled me over in Alberta, Canada (2011 Nissan Rogue) due to the plate lights being burned out .. gave me a warning (never a fun experience .. but they are doing their job) .. and now it is fixed thanks to your video.
Video is great, Nissan Japan made the twist-off connector impossible. It turned counter clockwise but never would come disconnected. A connector that will not disconnect is a disaster waiting to happen. If you have big hands good luck. I was never really sure if the connector loosens counter clockwise or not. It does turn counter clockwise but it never gave any indication that it was coming loose, and I did not want to break the connector. Another cheaply made plastic part from Nissan.
Also before you put in blue license plate lights. Make sure the state you live in isn't illegal to do such. It's illegal in Michigan to drive with led on the undercarriage.
I think it depends on the area you live in honestly. Right now I have my car tinted all the way around even the windshield at 35% and knock on wood not been pulled over in 3 years with this car. But if i was rolling through other neighborhoods for sure. The worst that can happen is you get pulled over and you decide to swap them back?
I boutght these 6 (2each for front left right and middle)+2 for plate from amazon $16. Thanks to U..I realized my bulbs already long gone.. good job.. Sharing ur experience.
blue and red lights on your car will indicate that you are impersonating a police officer...stupid idea either get white or red to make it seem as another brake light
OH THE COPS ARE GONNA FK WITH YOU HARD GET HYPER BLUE ICE BLUE FROST BLUE IT HAS BLUE IN IT AH NICE TINT OFF BLUE BUTTHE BLUE ON THIS VIDEO WILL DRAW ATTENTION TO YOU STAY BELOW RADAR ;)

I got the left side in a few seconds but I was struggling with the other side for like 5 mins 😹
I just replace ours in a 2013 Rogue. And she is right, LMAO. You do have to turn them either clockwise or counterclockwise.

If you know someone with small hands/wrist that would help. Bad design. Need more room to get this done.
