This is so perfect! I have exactly the same scooter, but in black. I was looking to add dash cams to my niu and could find some decent informations for that kind of scooter. Then I found your video, thank you sooooo much Sir.
Thumbs up man. It's been a long TH-cam search trying to find a video that shows an opened up Niu. It would have been amazing if you showed the actual breakdown.
Hey Mike's tropical tech! Greetings from Vancouver British Columbia Canada! Thank you for the fine NIU scooter vids! Great to see it taken apart! I wish you experience happy and safe scooter riding! Ride ride ride!
This is pretty cool Mike! I recently bought a Niu N Sport as well here in Nepal and I am totally in love this thing. The performance to Price ratio is wonderful and the tech is a cherry on top. Also having lived in Thailand for a while your content is quite relatable too! Waiting for more videos of cool stuff you'd do with this beauty!
There was a little shop that was on that small curve that you showed us with the cameras where I would sit and have a morning bowl of jok moo from time to time. 25 Bt. I miss it.
NEW NQiGT but old screen dashboard? That’s weird , Ah! that’s why you have old dashboard screen its because you have old ECU and old harness line. Watching from Shanghai China we have the updated one😁✌️
interested in a test ride with 2 adults on a big hill. because I want to use a scooter on Koh Phangan. there are all roads up and down and a very large angle.
On my first 1000 watt scooter I could not go up the steep road to Monkey Mountain here in Hua Hin. With the 3000 watt Niu scooter it went up easily, but I was alone riding it. Not sure how it would do with 2 people.

Yes I had a favourite noodle shop right there then it closed during you know what...
Nice vid, Mike, very informative! Could you please tell us what camera system you chose, tech specs, and your motivation behind it?
I bought one fairly randomly from AliExpress that fit the price point I was happy with. www.lazada.co.th/products/i3179195981-s11886107575.html
Enjoyed wtching.
"Life is a crazy ride" Love it. Great video. Thanks for sharing 👍😊
Sounds like a good deal to me too 😄
Mike, any other add-ons you are planning to install? A rear rack? Windshield? Anything else you can think of?
I'm on a 1-year trip right now, so nothing on the horizon to install. A rear rake might make the most sense.
do you have some third party battery connected there in the disassembled state?
No, just the stock batteries.

I'm selling this one here and buying a new one when I move to Barcelona in January so hopefully I will get the updated model over there too!

Make an update video of the scooter
I sold the scooter just before I moved to Spain.
