As usual, it doesn't matter what great things you can create, but how much money you have to buy ads to promote what you create (or how many friends you have to like and share your Tweeter posts to make them viral).
Without that, any amount of work or talent means nothing.

Just tell the person they will soon lose their job to AI. That will erase the smile in their face. Then take a new photo 😂
(I would use Stable diffusion and Inpainting to do what you want. I don't know about specialized models).

I for one look forward to the day when the artist class aren't the only ones with the means of narrative production, and people of all ideological stripes have their self-flattering stories.
I do feel bad for their job prospects, but the answer should be to accelerate the automation of all jobs, not pick & choose which fields exist due to political or aesthetic favoritism.
