yess same here! i aways wore heavy eyeliner and lipgloss because of her, pearl necklaces and mini handbags. she was a huge influence on me in high school

She looks way way better in all of these photos than about 90% of my looks at that age. I remember watching Laguna Beach and thinking immediately how she reminded me of all the “cool girls” at my school.

I don;t understand the completely different voice- this always throws me OFF.
Lauren says it was from all the second-hand smoke in the clubs as well as hangovers
She had surgery on her vocal chords due to it being so loud in LA during filming the hills, she kept losing her voice i.e. the raspy voiced Lauren from LB and the Hills. @@madeleiner4865

True but I'm wondering if she was sick here. ..she looks sick & sounds like shes getting over a cold. She got too skinny I think, if not sick, 3 (or more, whatevers comfy for her but def more) more pounds & I'd feel like she looked healthier. I'm used to the bubbly-cheeked Lauren Conrad look. I'll accept the change tho, just surprised me a bit I think

She's commented on it before. She said moving to LA ruined her voice because she was in a lot of loud places. She said there were polyps all over her vocal chords. If you google it you'll find it.

Totally! She often had a 'I'm going to lose my voice at any minute due to laryngitis. Honestly, I think it was yelling at the clubs almost every night. Hard to talk over so much music and other people talking. Even without that, her voice had changed more than anyones.
I feel like the thinner eyebrows suited her better. Idk why. Just looked good. She's always beautiful! Love you Lauren :)

I agree! I dont mind a fuller eye brow but its definitely not for everyone!! She looks better with a thin brow.
I know its the style now these thick eyebrows..but yes certain ppl look so much better with the 90s/2000s eyebrows. Lauren, Whitney and Sarah Michelle Gellar are a few that I couldnt work out why they looked so different. Then realised its the eyebrows. And they suit the side parting which isnt in fashion anymore.

The current trend for thick, unnaturally rectangular slanted brows makes for a harsh, almost, angry look. Brows aren't naturally squared.

c she actually tried that before but people were obsessed with Jersey shore and the show was DOA. I stopped watching The Hills when she was gone and she went after a life without cameras on her face. She made her money and she moved on. The classiest woman on reality TV of all times

c I’ve watched the reboot of The Hills and it’s not terrible but everyone from the original show isn’t there so it’s honestly not quite the same. I’m happy LC moved on with her life and has a great career and beautiful family!
I’ve always liked Lauren the best and Whitney! Her winged eyeliner is what I remember the most about Lauren. She was probably one of the first to make it as popular as it is today.

I just recently rewatched the first 2 seasons of LB, and I couldn't get over all the razor cuts and the burned straight hair EVERY GIRL HAD! No ones hair had any body or movement at all. I'm so glad we've all embraced more natural textures now.

LC is soo beautiful. Excited for her makeup line! To what she’s saying I think makeup trends change slower than clothes trends and that’s why you look back like “what was I thinking?”. The whole 2000s - plucked eyebrows, bronzer, gloss and rimmed liner. The 2010s trend was a beat face - sculpted brows, lashes, cat eye, contour, cut crease eyeshadow and liquid lipstick. 2020 is “no makeup” makeup - natural filled in brows, tinted moisturizer, tinted gloss, and fluttery lashes.
She obviously isn't perfect, but I always couldn't help but love Lauren on the show. She gives off a calm, warm energy
