I had the same fish (species) for 15 years. It's EXTREMELY smart. I'm not at all surprised. People underestimate the intelligence of animals... They get bored; they want to have fun; they literally think outside of the box. It wanted me to make it a "bed" from the wood in the tank, so that it was directly above the fish. That way it would sleep without needing to move its fins, because its natural buoyancy would take it upward. It honestly looked dead when it slept like that. But it loved it... It would also love rearranging everything in the tank, especially the sand, like rearranging a home. I knew it was hungry if I moved my head back and forth and it followed my motion. Then it would swim to the top of the tank to eat. Basically I trained it to respond to me if it was hungry. It had an incredible sense of spatial awareness even of what was outside the tank. I used a system of mirrors so it could see outside of the room that the tank was in. The fish positioned itself in the tank so it could see through these mirrors. Before it died, it actually waited for me to come to the tank before it had its last "breath." It must've been ready to die for the entire night, and I thought it was dead when I saw it. But I put my finger on the glass in front of its eyes, and it sucked in through its gills one last time with its fins spiking as a final reflex before it passed away. Same exact situation happened with my mom's parrot-it waited for her to return before dying. What a friend it was... @@BaldCoryxKenshinfan Although there is VERY good reason for it in this case. Air-Travel is one of the few workzones with good reasons for a 0-tolerance attitude towards rules, especially safety-related ones. One of those is that flight attendants must be seated and belted in during takeoff and landing, so that in an emergency - once it is safe for them to move - they are guaranteed to be fit, concius and ready to help the passengers. Accidents leading to those emergencies (Mainly birdstrikes, but possibly mechanical fatigue of materials) are by far the most common during takeoff and landing.
@@jdos5643 they did, their main job is not to say "hi" to you or bring you water. Their job is to make sure everyone is safe. That includes making sure everyone is using the seat belt, objects are in their place and secured and in case of an emergency lead the situation and help everyone be safe. Recording tik toks during take off means: - they are breaking safety policy - they are not paying attention to the plane and passengers - they are putting themselves and others at risk if there is an accident Aviation rule number one is safety. Safety first. Safety over everything else. If you don't take rule number one seriously... well, you should probably not work in aviation in the first place.

@@BahKnee I personally hope not. That's what I was thinking, that thing is no joke, there are plenty of horror stories of people going blind or getting 3rd degree burns in their internal organs without them even knowing.
How can someone be so dense to see this machine, that cooks your food in mere seconds and think it's a good idea to stand directly in front of it while the protective barrier is open? Smh
For those of you questioning why the Ryanair cabin crew got fired, it was completely justifiable. Imagine if the plane got into difficulty and needed to be evacuated. Two incapacitated crew members could severely hinder the evacuation process for passengers causing the possibility of fatalities... They were completely aware of this and chose to ignore the rules.
I thought it was another pointless firing, but then I thought of that - standing during takeoff can't be that safe, and if they got hurt the company could get sued to oblivion (I know nothing about planes so it took a second to click)
Also imagine if plane during takeoff had some problem, a bird strike or other engine malfunction so it levels quite quickly... All of them would have their faces bashed in and someone would have to deal with them etc.. instead of them helping passengers. It is a cool trick, and looks cool but they have to behave on their job according to the rules. There are plane flights you can rent ( although quite expensive ) that simulate zero g and that kind of stuff, that is a proper place to do those tricks.
I'm a flight attendant. Takeoff and landing are the most crucial parts of the flight. Those are the times when FAs should be most alert. Seatbelts securely fastened, no talking to pax etc. Those are the things that are emphasized the most in training; no wonder they got fired.

Actually it's not really that dangerous unless you did something stupid like stuck your hand inside. Microwaves can't escape like other types of radiation; they only have a very short wavelength so you could stand pretty close to an open microwave without any harm. For safety's sake though if your microwave borks and somehow runs with an open door just dispose of it at an electronics recycling bank.

People are forgetting the fact most plane crashes happen during take off and landing that’s why it’s EXTREMELY important to stay seated, specially flight crew, their actions whilst yes fun we’re extremely dangerous to not only themselves, but each other and all the passengers on that plane, as if something way to happen they could of been thrown around the plane and been unable to help the passengers, I totally understand their firing

I love how casually he presents that those flight attendants were fired
Right. My eyes widened when I heard that they got fired. 😭
@@astrofan8775 No chance to explain such things to generation wholesome/snowflake/tiktok
That’s sad. They did nothing wrong
@@jdos5643 they did, their main job is not to say "hi" to you or bring you water. Their job is to make sure everyone is safe. That includes making sure everyone is using the seat belt, objects are in their place and secured and in case of an emergency lead the situation and help everyone be safe.
Recording tik toks during take off means:
- they are breaking safety policy
- they are not paying attention to the plane and passengers
- they are putting themselves and others at risk if there is an accident
Aviation rule number one is safety. Safety first. Safety over everything else.
If you don't take rule number one seriously... well, you should probably not work in aviation in the first place.

I feel bad for them but they ARE supposed to be seated during that time. Hopefully they'll get on with a different airline.
@@BahKnee I personally hope not. They are getting paid to follow the airline's policies and procedures, and with a job as potentially dangerous as airline work, any attempts to jeopardize theirs or the passengers' safety should be taken with the most extreme of measures. That's what I was thinking, that thing is no joke, there are plenty of horror stories of people going blind or getting 3rd degree burns in their internal organs without them even knowing.
It’s why there is that pattern in the glass. The gaps are too small for the microwaves to pass through. With the door open, it obviously doesn’t work

I absolutely agree with that. Good riddance
I thought it was another pointless firing, but then I thought of that - standing during takeoff can't be that safe, and if they got hurt the company could get sued to oblivion
(I know nothing about planes so it took a second to click)
If you travel with Ryanair, the risk of dying is part of the deal
