    IMO : Its really the most underrated unit, people often loose with this faction cause players (especially inf squad) lack to ask support from heli and don't how to take advantage of them. Then most of the game heli pilot will receive no orders and they will just supply fob by default, so yeah the full potential of unit is not used and it will end most of the time with a loose.

    I like the idea of this unit but it takes too much coordination and game knowledge for your average blue berry.

      I had an amazing game yesterday with amazing comms dude. My squad and a helicopter unit in co-ordination with mortars and command managed to destroy them while other infantry squads stood on stand-by.

    There is also a method for supplying the objective that is too dangerous for helis but safe for logis, you can make a fob somewhere close and safe for helis to unload supplies on like a ammuntion depot of sorts, and then you can get the logis (truck or armored ones) to go pick up the ammo from the close fob isntead of going all the way to main, this way the helis dont bleed tickets and you get alot of ammo on the point using helis, this would work especially well on maps that are hard for logi runs to be done like kohat toi, lashkar valley, and ESPECIALLY skorpo, this way, you have way more ammo and can make fobs using the frontline logis while the helis do all the logiruns and drop ammo on the back, only issue is it seems people arent too willing on making a logistics supply line, as soon as you got a logi just deliver the supplies off the ammo depot fob somewhere up rhe frontline is the moment you are in business

    Really wish airborne teams would get one or two extra hat kits tho, having little vehicle-based firepower that can deal with enemy armor is definitely a problem. Like imagine having 1 tank spawning in late while the enemy rolls out with 2 tanks, 2 ifvs and 2 apcs right off the bat

    Helicopter pilots are already so far and few between. It makes it hard to choose Air Assault over the other Units. I feel like this Unit needs more love but I don't know how to change them without radical changes (i.e. parachutes, more unique infantry kits(?), heli's with armaments)

      Very true! Could use some solid tweaks to help balance, especially on open maps where armor can just run laps!

      I agree. The amount of times I just see heli's sitting at base cause either nobody wants to fly them or knows how to fly them is bonkers...

    My team chose Turkish airborne against American armoured the other day, it was just a complete slaughter.

    Great explanation, the heli clips were a little dull. You should ask that PETER YANKERSON to fly for you. I hear he's got a sexy J-hook

    30 minute timer is crazzzy Remove the tank from air assault and give it 2 cas then it will be fun.

      @@deemwinch The game is not realistic right now. Saying that it will be very strong is not an excuse. This is the same as saying tanks are too strong let's remove them from the game

      Also, it doesn't have to be CAS helicopters. Maybe Air Assault units can hav lowered cool down on airstrikes, at the cause of them only having airstrikes.​@@1huzimadeit

      Boring take. Learn it, use it when its best suited for the situation. People need to stop just taking armor to leave main and lose tickets. Armor isn't always the best crutch.

      @@Slay3Kilo Airborne is too Niche ,
      Its reward for utilizing it still relies on your enemy being immobile / making mistakes to win.
      Its kind of cheese to leap frog on an uncoordinated pub squad.
      Lacks very little offensive power , The build needs a rework, and seems to be tailored for Kohot Toi invasion defense, MAYBE, or Southern Islands lane Sanxian ,
      And Theres a hundred other factions that aren't a waste of time and Have The helis as well
      TL :DR , Theres nothing you can do with 3 helis that you cant do with one and vehicles to actually sustain an attack

      @@Slay3Kilo "the situation " is the ENTIRE ROUND XD , what you want people to just float in the air with infantry while tank and Mech inf take the point. How are you supposed to TAKE a base with TOWS?! Please enlighten me . If you dont get to the 4th point first and Make a "supeR FOb " (gross) you're going to be behind in tickets
      Enlighten me What can you do with 3 helis instead of 1 ?

      It's "Kind of cheese" to leap frog on an uncoordinated pub squad? Oh.. so don't use speed? Surprise? Nada? Because it's cheese?
      So there are maps where it can work? Odd, because I do mention that your votes should go towards units that benefit the map situation. I never said this was the perfect faction that you should use all the time. I also say that if it's a wide open map where armor can roam, it's probably not ideal for this unit.
      But yeah, if you are playing Kohat, this group could do work. Same with Sanxian, Skorpo, etc. You're proving my point.

      Situation -- as in what map you are playing.. What MIGHT you be up against. Not: oh I picked it just because. If the map doesn't suit the unit, don't pick it. But also.. you could potentially pick the Air Assault group or another unit when the map or SITUATION calls for it. The video I posted isn't "hey you HAVE to pick air assault" -- it's.. "here's what they have and here's how you might be able to use it"
      You keep just talking about helicopters, which by the way can move infantry faster than any other vehicle, get to areas that vehicles may struggle to get to depending on the map, resupply logistics... OH and provide INTEL of enemy armor and their movements.
      What you forget is that they have a fleet of light vehicles that can advance and disrupt enemy logistics or positions. Ever heard of a HAT kit? Those can be effective too, especially running off of a light vehicle. Or is that too cheese too?
      OBVIOUSLY, tows can't take points.. that's not the reason I talked about them. They are to help with armor balance and are going to be suited for defensive positions. That doesn't make it a superfob. Use your other assets to attack.
