In volume 8 chapter 13 or 14 Weiss summoned just the sword to protect the civilians from Cinder's projectiles. Martin Gonzales is Casey's bandmate, I think. Honestly, we don't know if Neo's semblance evolved or if the place made it stronger.
From what I heard about Neo’s backstory, she could've always made a clone of herself, but only one, and it is extremely vulnerable. I'm curious if her semblance evolved or if it is due to this world.
@@DimiDawg Yeah, I understand about Ren since his initial semblance was about masking emotion. This is why it's hard to see Neo requiring the same method, but it's possible that it is part of it. Personally, I feel like prolonged usage of the semblance is what causes it to evolve. Especially when the first time we saw Neo, her illusion shatters in a single hit. But now, they seem to last much longer.
@@Zack_Zander Also, semblances seem to be created and evolved when in stressful situations and tend to be revolved around their personality and mental state, at this point Neo probably feels betrayed and alone, she can only trust herself, so she makes more clones of herself. But based on the intro and the effect her semblance was giving off, I am more inclined the world is whats affecting it.
She creates clones in the show pretty often, whenever we we see a version of her that shatters, it's obviously not the real her then. We as the viewer just don't see her perspective as in her creating the clone/illusion.
Btw in case you didn't catch it, the scene with Weiss's partial summon is a reference to Jaune's first interaction with her when he called her "snow angel."
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 well they did it in Volume 8 against the hound but it was destroyed before completion. I see it could be that though but for me she’d have to fly around with the wings for it to click.

I doubt they even remember Jaune called Weiss snow angel. (Althought i'm not saying it wouldn't be a cool reference, it would. I'm just saying it probably isn't because Weiss already tried to do it in Volume 8, it's not something they just got out of their pocket in order to do a reference now)
@@Sin_cities maybe this place is reacting to her semblance, if I'm not mistaken her semblance has to do with imagination or creativity in physical form, it would make sense for a fairy tale to be affected by that, since it takes imagination and creativity to make one.

She's always used them as a replacement of herself in a fight but she's never fought alongside them, so maybe this place is amplifying her semblance and allowing her to make more than one illusion at a time, because as far as I'm aware she's never made more than one illusion at a time
Nah fam…it evolved. Same as Rens did in V8. Previously they were ALL stationary after she crafted the illusion just to be shattered where they were left. But this…nah…they were full blown shadow clones. We need to see how they fight so see just how much stronger she has evolved to..but she’s a super problem. You can also debunk the “imagination” part because this is a tangible place where they are and where other humans have also been. This isn’t an imaginary world as they’re actually there. It’s not a dream world like IQ. This is a place where the gods have created and the beings of the relics know about and warned them not to fall. Plus this is really interesting to have a antihero/antivillain level up too. (Especially Neo of all people) Let’s say I’m wrong, and it is actually some sort of amplification… then it’ll affect others as well and not solely Neo, but I can’t see this being factually accurate.

I wish I still had this much enthusiasm for the show unfortunately a sense of apathy comes over me watching V9, even with how critical I could be of the last couple of seasons they still got something out of me, but I'm happy people do and it won't stop me from supporting the show as I do want it to at least finish
