- After spending a few days exploring Prague, we made our way to discover more of the country 😻. We found an absolutely gorgeous wee bit to set up camp right next to the water. I gave my mum a phone call and she told me it was the perfect spot for a wee dip 😵 I had to cut a whole into the ice to get into the water and it was definitely one of the closest dips so far 🥶🥶🥶.
Our plan had been to then drive towards a castle which is full of skulls, but I got so distracted by a bunch of Kingfishers 🐦😍 so I spent ages sitting with my binoculars just watching them. Once we started driving, one of our followers recognised us and we stopped to have a wee chat with him as well. Since we were losing light quickly, we decided to not drive all the way to the castle but stop and spend the night somewhere. What did you think of the drone shots with the voice over? 😊 Unfortunately Nala wasn't allowed to enter the Castle of Skulls so I hurried through to get back to her as quickly as possible ❤️

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. Nala and Dean meet the most precious people! This guy comes running up with a case of beer and cat treats/toys and he almost cried when he saw the two of you. Somebody give that man a hug for me!
I was just thinking "I wish I were Nala ..." She gets a warm water bottle, placed in the correct spot, a warm piece of fur underneath her body and the wee blanket covering her. So snuggly. Dean, you are such a caring cat daddy and nice person anyway.
It brought me to tears (of joy) to see that follower who gave you the gifts, he was so glad and excited to meet the two of you. I would be very glad and excited, too if I would happen to meet you. Lots of love to both of you.
The drone shots are just great! But I do wonder how you manage to drive and control the drone at the same time. You are very skilled, Dean!

I just loved the man who found you and gave you gifts for you and Nala. It was such a sweet gesture. And you were so kind to him. He reminds me of my relatives in Germany (I'm an American). Despite the language barrier with some of them, they showed their kindness through their actions. We tried our best to communicate with my limited German and their limited English, but in the end they were so kind and hospitable when we visited Germany. There is goodness all over the world and that is the focus of this video, in my opinion.

Nice guy who came with presents for Dean and Nala. It was so funny when this guy said he saw Dean on Instagram going in the icy, cold water.." crazy". Dean invites the guy for a swim but he happily declines. It is so cute to see Dean prepare the water bottle for Nala to keep her warm and lots of blankets. Great video.
This level of love between a cat and her human is a beautiful thing to behold.

I have seen Dean do chilly water dips but I've never seen him do anything like this and quite frankly, I think it might be one of the riskiest things he's ever done. He could have gotten stuck in the ice hole, hypothermia sets in so fast that you can lose the use of your limbs so quickly and Dean is not in the shape he used to be in so a cold water dip can be incredibly shocking to the heart....yeah I just don't think this was one of his smarter moves. I'm glad he lived to tell the tale!

I am already getting sentimental, this has brought me so much Joy. Seeing that unique green van ambling down the highway, knowing Nala is curled up on her own personal hot water bottle. Man with banjo strumming in the background reminds me of CBS' "On the Road" with Charles Kuralt. I have experienced The Great Outdoors with my pets all of my life. I continue to be amazed at the doors that open when you have an animal with you. I have met wonderful people and love to expound now on the amazing virtues of Cats, while I happily dispel the many myths about felines. Now I can vicariously relive these experiences. My warmest gratitude to you and Nala and your producers from Colorado, USA.

My French is not very good, but I do understand complètement fou. I found it so funny when he said that the ice bath was "so refreshing". The temperatures were so low that the water in their bottles was frozen thoroughly and then he talks about refreshing. I admire him for his cold resistance :)

I wish I was not allergic to cats. I cannot let them near my face, but I can pet them with my hands, as long as I rinse them under a tap afterwards. I really like cats, and they seem to know it.

This was another brilliant VLOG. I loved all the drone footage. I think if you had gone further out in the lake, you wouldn't have had to cut out a bathtub. That showed up well in the drone footage. Everywhere you go followers will find you. And they are so generous!! The drone footage of the river was amazing too. And I loved how Nala was walking around, looking quite chilly while she was out. She seemed to be walking stiff legged! The skulls were fascinating too! Thank you for sharing. Can you give us an update on Yasuki even though her videos don't show up for another 5 VLOGS?
