Thanks for the suggestion! Looks like it will be black. Also the easiest to find. I am just trying to figure out which primer and paint to use. I don't have a spray gun :)
One thing I've learnt with ktms is that lots of the parts are interchangeable between the old bikes up to 2005 ,even some of the plastics and brake parts ,also wheels and hardware.
That is great news! I've been doing a lot of research and saw the same. That will definitely help as I'd love to rebuild the calipers, swing arm pivots, etc (mostly for the experience).
Agree on black frame, If you are interested I have a decent chain and possibly some sprockets as well and I am sure we I can source some decent tyres from some biker friends here in Pretoria - does it have 18" or 19" rear tyre?
