i feel like doing the inner work is something we have to do through our whole life. we're never really done with it. and that is so suffocating... but at the same time it brings hope to think that we're learning about ourselves and that knowledge changes us in ways we can't even imagine. what i find the most difficult is letting go of the control
Beautifully said. There are times when we just want to take a break and "be done", but for life to be as beautiful as, deep down, we know it can be - we need to press on. Letting go of the control is the challenge of a lifetime - we all experience it throughout our lives. You're not alone there, I'm right there with ya :) Life is an act of constant surrender, and the more we do, the more it opens up to us in return.
