The female choir Exaudio from Igualada (Barcelona) sings "Messe basse" by Gabriel Fauré accompanied by Dublin's cathedral organist Gerard Gillen and conducted by Júlia Sesé on the 4th march 2012.
Spero di impararla anche io con i miei compagni di coro, noi non siamo alto livello ma dilettanti cantiamo per dare un senso alla nostra vita ma riusciamo a dare emozioni belle
The Faure Requiem is doubtlessly his most renowned work and justly so. However, this diminutive Messe Basse is an extroadinarily beautiful work, especially when heard in the version of four part choir and organ accompaniment. What brings it over the top is a good boys choir where the innocence and purity of youth is conveyed, particularly by a young boys solo voice all of which make us aware of the divine in life. Still, this young lady soloist did a very commendable job in this performance.
Voci Angeliche veramente meravigliose🎶🎶❤️🎶🎶
I remember two years back the ladies schola at my parish sung this and it was really beautiful

On ne peut le dit que bel et limpide.

It was originally written for women soloists and an all-female choir.
This is a very simple and beautiful performance and make me really look forward to performing this on the 14th March in Devon
It is modulation mayhem for the accompaniment though!
Beautifully sung (particularly Laura Bardit) if a little fast in tempo for me
hahahaa this director is off and so is the choir, and the director is getting mad haha
