- In this video, I show how I repaired a Metcal MX 500. I show tear down and the schematic as well.
Symptoms my Metcal was having: sometimes it would not turn on at all other times it would turn on but the led flickered and the tip did not heat. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Hope this repair helps someone else.

@@FixedUntilBroken @Fixed Until Broken hey, please read. I have an 04 silverado that I'm adding trans temp, which I have a good idea how to do, I've added the stepper motor already and know the code number and location to program it. My problem is I am planning on changing from a vacuum brake booster to a hydroboost system and i need the code location and numbers for it. Is there any way you can send it to me or tell me a place to get it from. Thanks.
I measure over 50V across C6 whenever AC power is connected. For C6 I recommend 2200uF 63V with 10mm lead spacing. The other big cap C2 is 1000uF 35V is fine, 7.5mm lead spacing.
thanks for the info but where did you get your schematic.
I have the same model unit . Mine turns off and on with no problem but it isnt getting hot enough to melt sokder regardless of which soldering tip I use and ive tried a half dozen different tips. Any ideas on what the problem is?
Hey matt hope you been doing great. Any chance you gotten a chance to work on the 99-02 to 03-06 adapter to work ?
Hello, thanks for your contribution. They gave me the same one but the MX-RM6E handle, they disassembled it and removed the components that make it up, if I'm not mistaken it's an LC circuit, I want to repair it but I don't have the inductance and capacitance values, could you by any chance help me with it's? Cheers

Great Video Nice Bulging Cap!! I like the old Metcal they are great for production work. But the RF Induction heating tech is dated. I think their patent expired recently also. I am Not a fan of having to change cartridges to change temp.
Some yahoo used a hot iron to flick off the power switch.
Yeah seems kinda common where these came from 😂 oh well
Hey tryna get in touch with u on a old subject. Anyway i we can chat email phone. Jus got a idea and ??s
