Their stations are a lot cheaper than Metcal look almost identical though, tips are also a slightly. Good alternative for those who cannot afford to invest in a £700 Metcal, there top model is ~£350.

Im a beginner, im working from home repairing what ever I can. I've decide to go for jcb for my special jobs on high end motherboards and gpus. Their tips look to be the best for really small smd. I'll be using metcal for everything else. Out ofall the budget ones , the new sugon t36 and dx hot air station impressed me the most . They look better than job and metcal in my opinion. Ofcourse im just a beginner, om sure you know better than me .

Got hooked on these at work, first number is temp setting second and third number indicates type (we use 1XX cartridges at my work but we do LF/ROHS

Might longer than you think. As long as you does not using tip tinner too much and keep it tinned.
