    Hi sir. How about flexible 2.4 Ghz microstrip patch antenna using Polyimide substrate?

    If I want to change 2.4 GHz to 2.45 GHz ,how should I change the parameter values?

    how about the realized gain? what was the value?

    I got an error to reduce mesh size how i fix this error

    Can I use pec instead of copper as material for ground and patch? And is it mandatory to create the ground 1st?

      Yes .ofcourse..in simulation..people used pec..but remember pec is ideal conductor whereas copper has some losses...

    • @TechnicallyExplained
      @TechnicallyExplained  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not it's not mandatory to create ground first..but it's mandatory for the ground to be at bottom...

      Yes...

      I did as per your video(instead of copper I have used pec) and it is giving me errors as normal face out of bounds error, error in calculating solver matrix and adaptive port mesh failed🙄🙄

      This type.of error is when ground is exactly below substrate or it has interfered within substrate...or patch is not exactly above substrate......please double check coordinates ..I am sure there is some problem in coordinate axis..

    How can I get this software?

    Thanks for this video. This video was cool until you skipped the part where errors occurred

    • @TechnicallyExplained
      @TechnicallyExplained  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No mam..I have only skipped the simulation part because usually simulation takes about 10 mins..

    Would you please explain how you get those values of substrate, patch and feedline?

    • @TechnicallyExplained
      @TechnicallyExplained  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The height or thickness of substrate should be of standard values..i.e. you should take the thickness substrate of values which are commercially available..
      I am using the Fr-4 substrate which is mostly commercially available of 1.6mm thickness..that's why I have taken substrate height to be 1.6mm

      The patch values can be calculated from set of formula or simply online using microstrip patch antenna calculator..

      @@TechnicallyExplained how you determine the W and L of substrate? The W and L of patch we could find it online
