Hello. I get an error like this "The discrete port or lumped element Folder1:element1 was not found in the mesh. Please compare model and mesh view, and possibly use a different tetrahedral mesh generation method.". Do you know the solution?
the inset feed is just to insert the microstrip line into the 50 ohm region of patch (impedance matching). InW is simply the gap between the microstrip and patch. It has parasitic capacitive effect that alters the impedance matching. So better to do some trial and error to see at which value the matching is close to 50 ohm
I designed the antenna just like you did, following the steps. However, I couldn't achieve the same results. My S11 is -35 dB, and I'm using CST 2024. Do you know why this happened? I appreciated your video. Thanks so much!
thanks a lot for this impressive vid, just wanted to ask about how can I check the gain? and what are the factors that I should consider to manipulate the Gain?
gain can be increased by using a substrate having lower dielectric constant. In advanced design, FSS based superstrate can be used above the patch to increase the gain
That’s was awesome video. Thank you so much for doing that. I was wondering how can I achieve wireless power transmission in a microstrip patch antenna, and how could I know whether it achieved or not using cst?
When I select the surface -> macro -> solver -> Ports -> port extension parameters, I get an error that says " Error in macro execution, Please check: (&H8000ffff) The specified shape doesn't exist. (PosSubMatName=Solid.GerMaterialNameForShape(posSubName))"
First of all thanks for this awesome video then when ı used a microstrip width calculator the result is approximately 2.80 mm not 2.86 mm the datas are target impedance: 50ohm; trace thickness: 0.000035m ; dielectric thickness: 0.0015m and relative dielectric constant: 4.3 ( from FR-4) where am I wrong can you explain me sir thanks again :)
Difference of 2.80 mm and 2.86 mm is negligible. The analytical calculator only useful for first order approximation. The optimum final parameter is derived through full-wave EM simulation. Hence the final result is always different from first order calculation
It is a narrowband antenna by nature. So the max bandwidth would be in the order of several hundreds of MHz. In order to achieve wideband response, we can use partial ground plane patch antenna like this tutorial:th-cam.com/video/RnubpFGeHXk/w-d-xo.html
@@silentsolitude1590 I did solve the problem but I honestly forgot how. Btw I graduated and I got a job and this really helped in the interview so good luck with it👍
Thank you for your awesome video! There may be an error at 10:36, is Vmax supposed to be 0 mm ?
As always your videos are the best!!!
Thanks again!

Thats very good please can you help me with how to extract equivalent circuit of an antenna from CST to ADS software
same. please 🙌🏻
I have zoomed the whole space and unable to zoom out. Plz help in this case
Is it possible to provide any information regarding how the calculations for length and width etc. for substrate and patch etc was made? Thank you
Yes, you can find those exact formulas in another old video here: th-cam.com/video/PH_wSucPQfc/w-d-xo.html
@@tensorbundle sir no information about feedline and substrate calculation.
I really thanks for your lecture and codes!
welcome
Very good video, thanks!
Why is the inW for the microstrip 0.74mm? I have encountered multiple examples with this value
the inset feed is just to insert the microstrip line into the 50 ohm region of patch (impedance matching). InW is simply the gap between the microstrip and patch. It has parasitic capacitive effect that alters the impedance matching. So better to do some trial and error to see at which value the matching is close to 50 ohm

Which paper you used for this antenna. Can you please share paper with me? Appreciated
How can i calculate the inset for my antana?
Is this software available on Macbook air m1 macOS? if yes where and how can I get that installed in my MacBook
Radiation efficiency -4.2 db.. It cant radiate well :(
How can maximize the parameter list???
How to change frequency
That’s was awesome video. Thank you so much for doing that. I was wondering how can I achieve wireless power transmission in a microstrip patch antenna, and how could I know whether it achieved or not using cst?
Wireless power transfer is associated with near E-field, You have to calculate near E field in CST and from there you can calculate the radiated power
Hello sir, can you help me design a linear to circular polarization antenna using metasurface?
thanks sir for this video...we have to make 4*4 mimo by using cst can u make video for that
thank you

never mind! I re-built the geometry from scratch and this error went away.
How to change material
I am on student license therefore can't simulate. It says too much mesh cell. How do I correct this?
unfortunately this is a limitation of student version. Please check if your university has CST license so that you can use it

Can we simulate from 24 GHz To 30 GHz?
Thanks!!
excellent work
Many thanks
what about realized gain?
how to increased realized gain??
Mengapa ukurannya harus sama persis? Tapi frekuensinya tidak tepat
hey are you there... I need a help😢
please make a same triangular patch antenna !!!
Hi sir. Is it possible to use 2. 45 GHz Patch antenna on Smartphone Bluetooth.
No. for smart phone, we usually use PIFA antenna
What is the maximum -10 db return loss bandwidth we can achieve by modifying this antenna and how

How to add graphene material to this microstrip patch antenna
you can add graphene material in CST from macro
good job
Thank u so much !!
I did the same but I got a linear slope in the S parameter
I have a linear slope as well mate did u solve this problem?
@@silentsolitude1590 I did solve the problem but I honestly forgot how.

Did you use boolean (+) for patch and microstrip?
He didn’t
What is your name?
3.5ghz mea kaise kregea design?
Calculate width and length of the patch by using formula.
