Follow the steps below to Fix Roblox Error Code 279:
1. Navigate to status.roblox.com and check the status of Roblox Servers. If you see any Roblox servers down then this is the reason you are getting Roblox error code 279.
2. Reboot your PC or Laptop.
3. Right click the Windows Start button in the bottom left of Windows.
4. Select Network Connections.
5. Select Network troubleshooter.
6. Ensure all network adapters is selected then select Next.
7. Roblox error code 279 should now be fix and you can play Roblox.
8. If Roblox is still not working and getting error code 279, uninstall Roblox and then reinstall it.

I tried this and also tried multiple other methods multiple times, nothing works. I can't get rid of the error 279 and it's been almost a week now. I noticed on my other devices i get the same error code when im using my internet connection but when i change the connection on my phone to 5G i dont have the error code. But the problem is i can't get rid of it on my laptop at all, i don't know what to do at this point.
