For those who don't know, this is not Ghost of Tsushima or Witcher, not at all close.
This is 武侠(WuXia), it's Chinese martial arts fantasy, more along the line of Xuan-Yuan Sword Series or Sword Heroes Fate Series, and has been around for ages in Chinese pop culture, look up novels from 金庸(Jin Yong), a lot of these games are based on his work and are only well known within Chinese speaking communities, this game that's coming out is the only representation of such fantasy world that have caught westerner's eyes.
Asian fantasy is oversaturated with Japanese samurai, ninjas and whatnot, time for some Chinese Wu Xia! Really hope this game can succeeds!
Its really worth reading imo, u can find apps for translated novels if u wanna get into wuxia stuff
I've always loved Wu Xia chinese drama. These are actually Chinese version of superheroes but they call them Heros. Can't wait to fly using Wu Xia martial arts.

7:01 that scenery alone is 100 times better than both Ghost of Tsushima and Rise of the ronin combine
Tbh, the game is just a big fusion of all modern games. Only a few details were refreshing, like the bear tai chi thingy, and the frog jumping skill thing, and the hidden drugs/darts throwing. The flying element was never new to Chinese games. And the mobs guarding sealed chest in the middle of nowhere looks even worse than Genshin Impact. And the human mob and bear interaction is such a low IQ set up, why would anyone fight the bear in front of an enemy instead of running away.

Woah this game is actualy real. Been eying this game for years along with Crimson dessert which just got solidified as a real game on gamescom. This year and half of next year has got to be the best year for gaming since 2014-2015. Its the games that you dont expect to have AAA capabilities and qualites that make a gaming generation surprising so even tho spiderman 2 starfield and whatever COD is coming out the remainder of this year im more focused on lesser known game developers debuting

@@galacticmaui2 Not that it will suck. It could be good, but two red flags get me. One, it's a Bethesda game. Two,Microsoft has been releasing decent to mediocre games. I could be wrong, but hogwarts legacy was highly praised and had all the fan support even in the eye stupid criticisms. I think a goty nominee has to be more than good and I'm not convinced Starfield will be that. But I could be proven wrong in September.

The way you made it seem was like all games should be diverse. Final fantasy had its influence from old mid evil settings which there was not a lot of different races around those areas and some how the community complained about it but I see you praising this game
