I bought it. And just to help people out. I can mount it on my own, every time I go to the river. But I come very close to the River with my car. Just one meter away from it. And I put it on the boat transom from the water. So it's an easy lift. And yeah! She really flies! I m thrilled!
The 10/15 can be updraded to 20 with an ecu swap and restrictors(intake and throttle (10)) removed. May need to tune props. Thanks for the comparison. Going to upgrade the 15 we got.
Is 20HP motor really portable? I m considering buying it, but my biggest concern is weight. The issue is that I cannot keep it on the boat. Have to put it on every time I go on the river
I just bought the 20 hp Mercury outboard engine . If you’re not that strong you definitely need help to put it on. It’s pretty big . So far every time I put it on my inflatable boat my friends help me out .
I have the 20 horse that I cant leave mounted on the boat either so I take it off and put it on frequently. I weigh around 150 pounds and can handle it okay, but I try to carry it as little as possible.

I would get the 20hp but my inflatable dingy is rated to. 15 hp Max anyone one have thoughts on this ? Should I just get the 15?

If you look at 1:03 you can see him carry it to the boat. 99 lbs. if I remember correctly.

It was kph. Would be about 22 and 25mph

Only difference is the efi computer module (easily swapped), and the propeller pitch.
Just got the explorer in the 3.5 metre.Got the 15 hp as is rated max.Cant wait to hit the water.
