Jason, the hedge across the road is beautiful. As much as I appreciate your work and really only watch you do it because I find it therapeutic to watch, I personally live the hedge across the road more. How lovely. Leave it be. Thanks for your video and calming voice.
Very nice, man. I just started my tree business after years of working for others. I'm still getting my customer base, but I have a lot of demand for hedges, about which I know next to nothing. Even though this isn't a "How To" channel, you do beautiful work and I'm learning a lot. Thank you for all your content.
Wooooow..... Really beautifulll and perfect...... Welldone.. Fantastic job...... Nuce to see you...ilike all your video..... Im Indonesia... G. B. U.....
Green Barrow Garden Services thanks Matt, next time I'm that way, I'll take a pic and send it to you, it's bad lol. Nice trim and conifers always look nice👍 Take care in this hot weather mate 👍👍👍👍
Very good work, i know from my own experience that there not easy to do and the conifer bits go everywhere, When i get home the bits are in my pockets down my shirt you name in. Nice controlled job as its so easy if your careless to go in to hard, Kinda just wants to suck you in, Especially in this temp. I never like doing them but when your finished it is very satisfying.
People here prefer fencing. Too bad. Had 3 Leland Cypress as a privacy fence but 2 died from the canker. Took them down and the experts say I cannot plant another type of that species in that area. Now have to search for another way to block the view of my neighbors driveway.
Thank you Jason for sharing this and great job. I wonder what do you actually use a maintenance spray that you are happy with? I use standard WD40 for the lack of à better idea. I would really be curious to read your thoughts on that.
Hi Jason Hedging is easier if you wear a harness with shock absorbers like I do With it you can hold the hedger with one finger Cypress Kanker is prevalent in Sydney
Excellent job and video Jason as always. Have you considered buying a longer hedge cutting attachment say 60cm? It would help by taking longer swaths as your cutting speeding up your conifer\hedges work? ☆☆☆☆
Brian Connor thanks Brian. I have a long trimmer attachment, but mostly just put a extension in with short if need reach. I know what you mean but then I would loss the ability to work close up. Take care mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Brian Connor sorry miss read, I do have longer cutters, but find this shorter one I can get up tight to hedge with, where others the gear box drags along the hedge, I'm planning on a video in a few week on 3 different heads. 👍👍
Another sharp cut hedge, looks excellent, can you tell me about the catcher plate you use when doing the top, is it home made or a universal one? Where are they available from?
I’ll look forward to that video, I’m sure a lot would find that useful, like I did with your ladder spreader board video, I made one the same after seeing that and it’s made life a bit easier when I use the ladder, just watched your tripod ladder video, good that, I’d like one of those at some point soon, next on the list for me is a chipoer/shredder.
They look rearly good . How many times a year do you lightly trim them like that and do you do it at certain times of the year to avoid the deadly brown occurring lol
@@jasongardener3425 can you prevent this somehow ? I just dont want my hedge to come out any more on the path or its lost case ? Also can i trim it every 2-3 months without killing it ? ( i am just concern about how fast it push its way out )
Hi Jason, we are living in Switzerland and the width of the hedge is out of control. How do we cut it back a significant distance. Depth now 1.5m need to make it 1m
Hi, if its a Leylandii (conifer) then I'm afraid you can't go no further back that green, can not go into old wood as conifers doesn't regenerate as in the video
Hi Jason I had a big hedge to cut on Friday myself whilst I was having a brew before I started I was watching loads of birds flying in and out of it I just couldn’t cut it as I was frightened of cutting them, how are you finding it
Russell Downes Downes good man, if birds nest it a no no. Iv had a couple lately that I couldn't cut because of nesting. Hope your staying busy. Thanls mate and Take care in this heat👍👍
jason Gardener I find thorn hedges are the worst for it, conifer looks great though mate every time I watch yours it spurs me on to keep going talk to you soon mate.
Russell Downes Downes glad your finding the videos a help, one trick is to try and enjoy the trimming, take a photo before and after so you can look and see what a difference you have made

Hello..Good job.thank you!!!!!👍👍👍💪💪💪☘️🌲🌿🌳🍀🌳🌿🌲☘️👍👍💯💯
do you use different size trimmers, depending on what you are trimming?ie wider teeth for thicker branches or do you just use one for all?great videos.
Very satisfying.
Fantastic job. They look amaZing.
I haven't trimmed my hedge for over 6 months. How much can i trim. I trimmed before on top and it went brown.
Conifer, never cut back past green, it doesn't regenerate from old wood
Great work as always mate 👍🏻
Mike’s Garden Services thanks Mike 😊👍👍

I wonder what do you actually use a maintenance spray that you are happy with?
I use standard WD40 for the lack of à better idea. I would really be curious to read your thoughts on that.
what a pleasure to watch you turn it into a masterpiece Question how long is the trimmer head?
Quality work.. Beaut vid.. 😉 👍
Thanks👍
Great job and looking good and neat. Hate doing conifers as you get so brushed up by them and have to wear arm protection of rash!
Looks really good. But what are the laws in as to sidewalk over growth? Thank you for your great work as a lawn care pro and videos.
cheers but you shouldn't obstruct the pavement because its a quiet road people don't mind
Fantastic job - how long did it take you ?
techassyst thanks mate, started at 8 finished 3.30 and knackered lol.
Take care mate 👍
Hi Jason Hedging is easier if you wear a harness with shock absorbers like I do With it you can hold the hedger with one finger Cypress Kanker is prevalent in Sydney
Cool ladders... Where did you got those?
hi , its a 8ft tripod workwere ladder, perfect hedge cutting ladder, thanks for watching 👍👍

Hi Jason, i was meaning the cutting blades not the extension shaft. Great job on the hedges again

Good point. You do an excellent job on your vids so your probably right.Look forward to your new vid ☆☆☆☆
Holly shit.. 11:20 - that vein....!!!! No wonder you can work all day with this heavy pole hedge trimmer..
Thanks mate, over the years you get use to throwing the hedge cutter around, better than the gym 💪.
👍👍
Lovely job some operator
Great job 👍 Whats that attachment you used for trimming the top?
thanks mate 👍, just a simple catcher attachment, helps clear the little bits of the top
Where can you get the catcher attachment?
Another sharp cut hedge, looks excellent, can you tell me about the catcher plate you use when doing the top, is it home made or a universal one? Where are they available from?
thanks mate 👍 glad you enjoyed, its home made, as you and several other have asked about it, ill do a quick video about it in a week or 2
I’ll look forward to that video, I’m sure a lot would find that useful, like I did with your ladder spreader board video, I made one the same after seeing that and it’s made life a bit easier when I use the ladder, just watched your tripod ladder video, good that, I’d like one of those at some point soon, next on the list for me is a chipoer/shredder.
New to your channel. Love your work wish I had shrubs like that at my house in south carolina usa.
Nice bit of footage
thanks mate
How much do you charge for that hedge?
They look rearly good . How many times a year do you lightly trim them like that and do you do it at certain times of the year to avoid the deadly brown occurring lol
Twice a year, late spring and then autumn, avoiding hot summer heat, I find best
👍
@@jasongardener3425 is it the hl92 your useing or another model ? :)
I find that cutting leylandia put pressure on cutters
Great job, do they start to collapse because they've got too big ?
audiguypaul hi thanks, yes as they grow, the weight on the branches starts pulling them down and they start to come outward.
👍👍👍👍👍
@@jasongardener3425 can you prevent this somehow ? I just dont want my hedge to come out any more on the path or its lost case ? Also can i trim it every 2-3 months without killing it ? ( i am just concern about how fast it push its way out )

Great looking job.
How often would you need to trim a hedge to get this beautiful looking hedge?
Every 6 months
Complimenti !!!! Io ho fatto questo lavoro per 30 anni..... poi ho dovuto smettere per l'epicondilite 😔😔😔
Vegetable oil helps keep blades lubed without hurting the plants
How long did it take to do it
5 hours mate, thanks for watching 👍
What hedge trimmer is it?
b21playa husqvarna
Nice neat work
Cheers
How long would it take to get a hedge that size?
Hi, if you mean trimming it took me 5 hours
jason Gardener I mean growing
Blue Grass King sorry my bad lol.
I would say, to grow a conifer hedge to this size would take 10 to 15 years
Good one Jason
thank you mate
How do you keep the tops so straight
Hi Jason I had a big hedge to cut on Friday myself whilst I was having a brew before I started I was watching loads of birds flying in and out of it I just couldn’t cut it as I was frightened of cutting them, how are you finding it

It looks nice you did a great job I just would never have anything in my yard that far in to the side walk
Wkdod
Nice job
Mack The Gardener thanks young mack, take care in this hot weather mate.
👍👍👍
How much did you charge for that job please
Good job.
Hola!, que modelo de maquina es?
Is that tonbridge mate
Super!
How thin can this hedge be kept?
It all depends on how tall it is, I.e a 6 foot conifer, would be 3 foot wide
Hand prune those big overgrown areas to maintain the plant in question
hi, would be difficult on the big conifer as the hand prune would reveal a lot of browning, thanks
Good work
thank you 👍
hello the quality of your work look amazing! if you recommend that rake, can you please send a link to it? many thanks. just subscribed :)
Brother all side video so nice
Hi whats the fee for such a Trim ? thanks
Would you ever do a video of cutting something like what was across the road?
Looking really tidy, what hedge cutter is that?
Charlie Thompson hi thanks.
It's a husqvarna 122c, which I have made a lot of modifications too.
👍👍

You don't use echo hedge trimmer I'm dissapointed
leonard2146 roblox and more could send a fortune on tool but have to stop somewhere, but if you send me one, I'll use it 😉
