Great hear husqvarna is a good tool I brought a budget 14" husqvarna chainsaw couple of years ago and it's turned out to be very good so I'm not surprised the hedge trimmer is good. Nice job Jason and no browning.
Andythegardener thanks Andy. I'm loving the hasqvarna so far. I'm going to give it 6 months to see how well it holds up and if good, think I'll be going down the husk road 😊. 👍👍👍
Beautiful work!! I use a 525LK split-shafy for my tall hedges...need to see if a machine shop can shorten my hedge trimmer attachment for me. Would be nice to have that medium length.
I made a move into battery-powered tools this week with the Stihl HLA65 long-reach hedge trimmer. I admit to having been sceptical at first but it earned its keep on the first job. It is so much lighter than anything I have used before, so enabling longer working and less pain in the joints! It's on the dear side, so quite a big investment, but one I think will pay off over time. I'd be interested in others' experiences with battery power. Mike, FirstCut Lawncare.
I currently have the Stihl km 130r that's quite heavy but cuts nice. The local mower shop trying to get me to buy makita hedge cutter but really heavy just over £300
John Davidson cool, I was very surprised for 21cc it has tons of power, was cutting 1in thick laurel today with the hedge cutter and have had the pruner on too, cracking machine. 👍👍
Hi Jason, good video as always heavy showers here in South west today not good for cutting Leylandii hedges so I gave up and had an early finish, what do you clean blades of hedge cutter with after cutting conifers ?
Phil S thanks mate, the weather is crazy at moment. I just use maintenance spray wd40 ect. I tend to spray the blades every 15/20 mins, conifer sap is a pain. It's no fun cutting in the rain on conifer, you get wet twice lol, from the sky and off the hedge. 👍👍👍
Trimmed a monster conifer hedge yesterday in the rain bloody hate the things so prices rocket up lol... Also turning work down and thinned out some crappy customers so happy days :)
Green Hands Gardening Service ha ha that's it charge well on them. I don't mind conifer but give my a privet hedge any day. It's alway nice when you can drop a customer for a better one. 👍👍👍
Uk Lawn Care thanks Curtis, just a month ago i was saying it's to hot and need some rain, i should has keep quiet lol, the joy of gardening. Hope all good your end, don't work to hard mate 👍👍
Green Barrow Garden Services thanks Matt. That's it got to keep ahead as these day things move on so quick can soon get left behind. And congratulations mate💑 👍👍
Gowersghost thanks mate. Using 98 octane in stead of 95 in the Stanley seems to run better and cooler ( finggers crossed lol ). Hope your keeping busy 👍👍👍
Russell Downes Downes the titan is a great machine and it's a back these days, because i know it will start, its just iv got to get lighter as my joints are bad these days. But I would never give my titan up.
jason Gardener I'm working six and sometimes seven days lately, I'm solo with 84 lawns to keep plus the hedge and shrub work that comes with it. I will get some time soon to edit and post what I've been doing. Take care mate.
paul bugden very true, if the sun stays out would be flying, but wet means behind 😧, the weather this year is so up and down it's unbelievable. The joy of self employment 😥 👍👍👍👍👍👍
David C thanks mate. Very true, high revs don't cut that great, mid revs is more than enough, and laurel lower the revs the best. Thanks mate and take care 👍
smart as a carrot mate. have you always worked solo ?. i used to get my uncle in to help me up until last 2 year. so i now do all my own clearing up (hate it) just means longer hours more money.good to see the husky earning its keep.
thegeordiefellwalker thanks mate. Yes always solo, and yes I hate the clearing up too lol. But all the money as you say in one pocket, hope your keeping busy 👍👍
Clive Ellis hi, I do mon-Tursday maintenance and fri-Sat one off's. I like both, maintenance is guaranteed money and safe, but I enjoy the one off's as they are all slightly different and intresting plus they keep winter busy too. 👍👍
I am doing a few regular ones at the moment. I charge £10ph based on my knowledge. I was looking at getting a petrol strimmer and the hedge trimmer attachment to keep costs down?
