This was a fantastic analysis and made me appreciate this sequel even more. Even before I found the hate surrounding this film to be really outlandish and shows a blatant misunderstanding of the film on a fundamental level. It's refreshing to see someone else notice the same things that I did.
I lived in Wash DC for years and rode past this theater in Georgetown that was playing Caligula for months and months and years later finally saw it and realized what Rome was all about. The scene in Gladiator 2 most missed is when one brother says about his brother.. the disease in his loins is effecting his mind. Says it all.
I am a history buff was my favourite subject in school a long long time ago but i have always kept an interest enjoying historical movies and decent tv programmes this was a really very good video and educational i am grateful for that well done whoever made this keep going even on different subject that video held my total concentration and i was very impressed by it
And, Domo adigato, Tanga u could've started with the prequel to it. I hope u find time to do them and also about blue lock... U should do the chapter reviews plz😢
You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
This was very biblical to me, kings who see themselves as false gods. who rule by power, control, and wage pointless war to show strength and tyranny. (Hano) The soldier that god placed to restore peace in Rome. And god gave hano his blessing in the form of an obstacle (macrinuss) the true evil that’s been waiting & planning his opportunity
He had already been dead 300 years prior. He was paraded at that time through the streets and decapitated. Certainly not mauled by a ridiculous rabid baboon- dog CGI mutant !
Let’s be real this sequel bitching is getting fookin old 😂 if you don’t want to watch it then don’t but sequels are literally natural and will always be a part of any type of media when something’s over the next question is what’s next
Great breakdown, I’m glad I understand now how Maximus was his father and that there was some references to real Roman mythology but I still hated this movie. The whole thing just felt weird, didn’t like the writing. The emperors were weird. Fighting was lackluster. I will be sticking with the original and if they make a third I am staying far away from it.
No one was anticipating this movie and it is a terrible sequel, boring sequel, and a sequel that takes almost the identical route of the original gladiator

Obviously not as great as the original! BUT…I really did enjoy it!!!
so great, after all the hate and bad reviews online, i found this video
This was a great movie on its own. Hope more people watch it than do not. It is worthy of praise.
You're awesome honestly been looking for a recap for half hour you're everything,❤❤
Thank you for amazing analysis. It added more layers to my perception of this story👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻
Thanks for giving this great movie even more depth

Even in death, Maximus was able to protect Lucius through his armour!
Great explanation 👍 👍
When he was in the underworld, there was two cyclones foreshadowing the twin emperors.
And that is partly why I love this movie.
Imim so glad you did this 👏

It felt like Alonzo had gone back in time.

To this very date Greeks put silver coins or circulating coins to their loved ones as farewell for the trip
On the eyes usually.
@easyenetwork2023 Northern Greece so far as I know on the eyes. Personally I placed the silver coin to the hands.
Why do we hear some Arabic in the background although historically at that time North Africa did not speak Arabic but Amazigh?

He’s in Africa and there was only one black soldier I saw during the beginning of the movie.
Many of them were darker.
He’s in North Africa and most of them are refugees from different European lands stolen by romans
They shudnt have killed the Tall Muscle Black guy so soon...!! So Early in the movie!!!!!
He had already been dead 300 years prior. He was paraded at that time through the streets and decapitated. Certainly not mauled by a ridiculous rabid baboon- dog CGI mutant !
Awesome
Excellent review. The Trump Era Movie totally based on facts nobody would believe it. 😆
Lucius isnt Max's Bloodline
Let’s be real they shamelessly forced a child on Maximus so they can make an awful unnecessary sequel 😂

@ I’ve watched it and the film was crap! That’s my opinion you don’t have to agree with me 🤷🏾♂️
No they did not. In the original, I think it was intended as more of a one off. But when they saw how big sequels were, why not?
Long anticipated that might just be a stretch

This makes vie was bad.
Couldn’t wait to leave the theatre.
Convoluted plot, poor lead actor …
No reason for the movie to have been made.
Just plain awful.
