  • In this video we take our free Craftsman GT6000 garden tractor from short and stubby to long and low. Using junk and a bit of creativity, we already have a vastly different looking machine then we started out with.

I'm glad to see you've defined your vision and stuck to your guns about creating hot-rod mowers. Never sell out to the youtube comments including mine. You do YOUR thing and the rest of us are coming along for the ride. Selling yourself out to youtube comments is a surefire way to decrease viewership. Be proud of what you do, who you are, and just keep on sharing your videos no matter how mundane you think they are. I enjoy listening to you talk us through your builds and your thought process. It's the crux of creativity and it shows how you think/talk yourself through the project. Even if you think your other videos are boring or rambling, you should have a 2nd channel where you just upload your ramblings, tell us you're rambling, and let us enjoy watching your "sloppier" channel. Make sure you link to your main channel and link to your second channel from each other. Glad to see you back on track doing what you do best: building hot rod mowers!!!

You might want to get a hold of some salvaged road sign post pieces. They come in a couple of sizes, are very strong and, have holes drilled each inch. Even if you only used them to act as a jig or for mock up. I used some as cross members on a flatbed pickup build and they were strong enough to lift the rear of the truck off the ground with a hi-lift jack.

love the vid, great work! TLDR would you be interested in testing an automatic transmission of my design, it won't be finished for a few years? my engineering capstone project I am developing a modular automatic transmission designed for both vertical and horizontal shaft engines, it will probity be a few years before I get the design to a functional state. If I manage to get it finished would you be interested in stress testing it? It uses just centrifugal force to shift so it won't need batteries. enough of me waffling about that, I absolutely love this project and can't wait to see it take to the streets, good luck with your amazing hot rod! 😀

Keep me in the loop! I've been wanting something like this for small engines for years. I've even dreamed about a half-size transaxle like from an old VW bug that you could fasten a v-twin to to make cool rear wheel drive vehicles or a front wheel drive unit like a Morgan 3 wheeler.

@@LazloNQ will do, I'm probably going to make TH-cam videos to document it
