I used to help everybody I could and then I learn to be led by the spirit of God on who I help. Because many people would just take advantage of you and do you dirty because they think you're weak because you're helping them. But when I listened to the spirit of God I help the right people that I'm supposed to help and I help them in the right way. Sometimes helping people does not look like what we think it should. Sometimes helping people is being hard. Being hard on them and pushing them. Or telling them no. Depending on the situation. This is why it's so important to have a close relationship with Father God and His Son King Yeshua Messiah AKA Jesus Christ. Obedience causes us to be able to hear and see from the fathers Holy Spirit more clearly..

There are smarter ways of saying this and still being direct. “Look more like your friend” is completely unnecessary. If you prefer the way the friend looks, go be with her. Honesty is still the best policy.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The single best book you can read and especially in the current times is Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged".
You will start understanding exactly what is wrong with society today, where all these problems originate and what is the antidote.
It is a lengthy book, it is a difficult book and it is a priceless book!

Last year I read 91 books (original goal was 52), but on a very wide range of topics (more broad than I’d like to admit) and it did nothing for me. Except for the finance books, those were good for honing the basics. The thing with that is, you know the saying, “Jack of all trades master of none.” Which is exactly what it feels like.
This year I’m trying to read about 20 very large books on a few of the same topics as well as some fiction to give my brain the occasional break.
Moral of the story: just because you read a lot does not mean you’re a lot smarter.

Reading is like watching podcasts: consuming them alone is not very helpful. Talking notes/processing them, assimilating them and making changes in your life based on that is what matters.

23:38 - 24:10 i'll only throw in that sometimes, the best answer is to ask more questions.
?s can build towards a point you are trying to make as in "how do you think he/she will react/feel/respond if you _______?" "would you...?" tho when we DONT know the answer. "well X is what you have to figure out; it's your decision, your call; once you make it; from there, the rest is easy!" and for those/us 'religious' types "why don't we pray on this?"
after all: no need to become fair game target of eye-rolling "yea, dad sure knows the answer..."
oh. subscribing. thank you in advance whatever else i play for self + others on speakers as we eat!!

#3. Disagree. The more you give the more they will "need". I can't vet people to tell whether they will use my money for a good purpose. I'll give to verifiable organizations that have the expertise to know how to deal with these people.
I used to give to all sorts of people and it has usually turned out badly. I either created a parasitic relationship with some or I created resentment in others. People who have self-respect will resent you for your generosity.

    We're not there to negotiate.
    Pump up the Volume.
Inherent in the 2nd Amendment is the choice of if or when to raise a militia to defend our Constitutional Republic and it is ENTIRELY IN THE HANDS OF THE CIVILIAN POPULATION.
The Constitution specifically gives the RIGHT to the INDIVIDUAL Citizens to keep and bear arms and to raise a militia - and decide how to use it.
The government AND COURTS have no authority over the decision.
It is in fact "THE" Fail-Safe for a situation like the one the Leftists have created now.
In fact, the 2nd A's intent was that we can defend the Constitution AND OURSELVES
    FROM... a treacherous, treasonous government…
George Washington didn't free the country by himself. We can't depend on
Pres. Trump to save our country, our homes, ourselves - alone.
Do NOT let an evil minority conquer the United States of America.

Ryan, I love your videos, your book, your podcast, and pretty much all your social media. I wanted to ask though, what are your opinions on anti-depressants and things like that? I'm against them for myself, and I believe America, and the world in general is in a sense over-sedated with prescription drugs. But at what point would anti-deoressants be needed in your opinion? I'm about to turn 21, and because of the government lockdowns over the last year, as well as myself having to come to terms with my past mistakes and being left alone with my thoughts, my prior depression has become much greater than before 2020. I'm usually the kind of guy that believes you don't need medication unless you're in a straight jacket- that any issue you face can be solved with a gym routine, healthy eating, healthy sleeping, a good friend, a hobby,, and a therapist. Basically, improve yourself, get where you want to be, and the depression will cease. But recently, all my mind will allow me to do is regret the past, and I'm stuck on my failures and all the time I wasted doing nothing from 14-21. I'm worried that the lockdown caused me to go from struggling to mentally ill, but I'm skeptical to take medication if I were to actually need it, as I don't want to suppress my emotions to avoid my problems, but I would much rather actually just solve my problems in hopes that my mental state would improve with that. I know you aren't a medical professional, but I am genuinely curious as to your opinion, as I'm a big fan of the podcast, and I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Thank you very much
