Soya & Pomodoro gives you the complete Italian experience! Located in Downtown Miami, this one of my favorite restaurants to go to for authentic, delicious Italian food. The decor and entire vibe is romantic, intimate, and reminiscent of the lower district alleys in Italy. There is a live jazz band that plays at night to really set the mood and transport you to Italy...or at least it feels that way.
In this video, I interview Cristian D'oria, chef and co-owner of Soya & Pomodoro. We talk about how he developed his passion for cooking, how he cooks the food, the history of Soya & Pomodoro, and more. I also check out his cooking skills in the kitchen as he prepares me an octopus carpaccio, eggplant parmigiana, and fazzoletti di formaggio (pear and cheese stuffed pasta).
Soya & Pomodoro has some of the best Italian food in Miami. The food is fresh and made daily to order, cooked by Italians themselves. You really taste the difference!
